that's fine and it would also confirm that Zimmerman was acting like a cop and he should have let [real/professional] cops to deal with it.

I've heard reports that he smoked weed, but I haven't seen any reports of harder drugs (I could have missed something). Not that I'm encouraging people to go get high, but there are many productive successful people who smoke. It's not like meth or coke. My point is, even if he was high what does that really have to do with anything? Unless Zimmerman observed and smelled him smoking a blunt, he probably had no legitimate reason to suspect Martin was "on drugs".

ETA: I could see how it could be relevant if he was on something like meth or coke which can lead users to violence, but I haven't read any reports about him using substances like that.

I just watched CNN on TV. Spike Lee will pay for the elderly couple's hotel costs. However the lady said that he shouldn't have done the wrong thing in the first place. IMO, he should be fined for his mistake.

The reason I don't know a darn thing about it is because the media, by actions like reporting that Zimmerman is a 'white hispanic,' as though that were a real thing or mattered either way, has indicated they have a narrative to tell, and they will frame their story to fit the narrative.

If Zimmerman were black, I don't think we'd have heard about the story at all.

Therefore, it appears to me that most of what we think we know is bogus, if we 'know' it because we read it in the news.

You are correct. If Zimmerman had been black this would have been a black- on-black issue and all the Congresspeople in Washington would have swept it under the rug just all all the black-on-black issues that happen in their home district on the same day. MM would do the same, making it a non-event.

I knew you were going to hide behind that. Race card has been pulled so many times, there's nothing behind it these days......all worn out.

it is actually rather pathetic to continueously throw the "you're a racist" ploy into a debate. it shows weakness in a desperate attempt to try to gain a upper hand.
