Your first sentence pretty much invalidated it.
Not at all. Just because he can use an affirmative defense doesn't mean he will win or that I believe it.

I find that mildly interesting. Mainly because I know what a field day the media and the Al Sharpton and Spike Lee types would be having if it turned out he was a Republican.
Did we talk about the media calling Zimmerman a 'White Hispanic' yet? What is that? And why would they feel the need to do that, anyway?
affirmative defense? oooo that sounds racist.
Since you brought it up, I wondered about that, too. The whole "white Hispanic" crapola nonsense they're throwing out there, that is. I wonder what the Latino community stance is on this whole thing? Any Hispanic discussion forum out there that might shed some light?
feel free to create a new thread about it.
Is this not a thread about the Zimmerman case?
Why, yes, yes it is.
It could be relevant to the charges of racism against him.it's about Zimmerman killing Trayvon... not public craze about Zimmerman as white hispanic or what box he checked in paper to identify his race.

And it has to do with the way the media is reporting the case. I still don't have an opinion on what happened, because I still do not think I know a darn thing about it except one person is dead.
The reason I don't know a darn thing about it is because the media, by actions like reporting that Zimmerman is a 'white hispanic,' as though that were a real thing or mattered either way, has indicated they have a narrative to tell, and they will frame their story to fit the narrative.
If Zimmerman were black, I don't think we'd have heard about the story at all.
Therefore, it appears to me that most of what we think we know is bogus, if we 'know' it because we read it in the news.
I've listened to that recording, and I must say it's a stretch for anyone to say categorically that it was that word that was said.it was the word he allegedly muttered ("f'ing coon") that brought attention to DOJ.... not what box he checked in the paper or what race the police described him as....

apparently you seem to know a lot more than that
or are you just here to team up with buffoons to heckle?
Now you add mind reading to your talents? I don't know anything about what happened except that one man is dead. The reason I don't know more than that is because the only source for such knowledge is the media.
I do know the media has made strange and unsupportable claims that are calculated to frame the narrative they want (like 'white hispanic).
And I know it was fun to read about jon Stewart chewing out Spike Lee and telling him to leave the cyberbullying to the teens:
Jon Stewart Goes After Spike Lee Tweet: Even With Right Address, Sending ‘Lynch Mob’ Is ‘Bad Mistake’ | Mediaite
thank you for proving my point that you do actually know more than "somebody died".
and yet... you come in here to speak your mind..... and then say - I'll wait and see....I regret that I am confusing you so much.
The only factual thing I know about the *case* is that somebody died. So I refuse to speculate about either party or their motives. I will wait and see what the court decides.
Jon Stuart? What I know about the media and it's biased reporting, Spike Lee, or Jon Stuart are not facts about the case.
are you sure you're not confusing me with others? they're the one who keep repeating "i rather wait and see", not me.It's kind of funny, you seem irritated at some people for speculating, and irritated with others for refusing to speculate.
Isn't he half-Peruvian?
