Tis ok. I hope I don't come across as badgering. I like to talk about this, even if we will always disagree and run around each other's points. If I ever seem rude, let me know (though I will probably argue it! ha!), but please know it is never intentional.
OK. It's way past my bedtime, so I need to wrap up for the night.

It proves yourself is an ignorant. *shake my head*

And, you call Reba an ignorant ? :eek3:

You forgot that she was involved in a military herself. She was an army. She knows ALOT of things. I don't think she is an ignorant. I really enjoy readin' her experiences and what she knows about soldiers and stuff.

My son in law ( my daughter is engaged to him ) is Sgt. himself ( Marine ). He took me to his base where he worked....ahhh, very interestin' ! I learned alooot from him. And, now my daughter called me " Marine Mom ". :giggle:

History repeats itself, I want to add something here, but I can't.

As the draft was still ineffect during VietNam, many of those soldiers faced either going to war, or going to prison. Not much of a choice, huh?

It must be very scary for the soliders to face the CHOICE like this... :tears:

That´s why I support soliders, not war issues.

I do not support the war in Iraq for several reasons--none of which needs to be discussed here. I do, however, support the men that are there, and the families that must endure their absence. They are not responsible for the actions of our government.

Yes I second that.

And, you call Reba an ignorant ? :eek3:

No, I do not call Reba an ignorant but show herself is an ignorant.

You forgot that she was involved in a military herself. She was an army. She knows ALOT of things. I don't think she is an ignorant. I really enjoy readin' her experiences and what she knows about soldiers and stuff.

No, I did not forget that she was involved in military time in the past but she doesn´t involve at Iraq time, don´t she? I have seen soliders everyday and know thru them. :)

You post #16

How can you be anti-war and yet draw a paycheck from what you consider to be warmongers? That doesn't make sense.

Who is the commander in chief?

Yes I know that´s what she said this to me... *shake my head*

I never did any such thing. I never even mentioned President Bush.

Leibling works for the U.S. Army. The Army is waging war. She is anti-war. But she accepts money from the U.S. Army Department. Her work helps the U.S. Army wage war. She's against war but her work supports war. She's against war but she profits from it. That's the point.

This is a pain stupid post, I ever read... *shake my head*

I am not working to support war issues but support soliders and their welfare. They are here to defend against enemies, not go to attack enemies´s countries. If you don´t understand the difference then I can´t help you.

No, I do not call Reba an ignorant but show herself is an ignorant.

Well, since you mentioned that YOU have SEEN soldiers everyday, but, are they your friends, aren't they ?

Reba has friends who went to Iraq. I will let her to tell you about it herself. :)

:pissed: :pissed: :pissed: I come from a military family that I grew up on and I wish everyone was supportive of the millitary like I am. I am helping the military to get what they need for supplies. My dear friend Zach and others that are in Iraq right now.. they don't enjoy it in Iraq but they have to do it. There's no choice. And guess what, I am going to college in the fall to become a military nurse. I want to make a difference for the soliders and everyone else. The military is hard work and it is never easy. Their experiences in Iraq and AFraghan is difficult. I always have faith in them and never give up.

*SIGH* I know that everyone wants their soliders home and away from war but what can we do about it? THOSE SOLIDERS have fought so hard to keep the freedom we have for this country and they keep us safe at night sleeping. You should think twice before you say anything bad about them. My dad was a USMC and Army guy and every one in my family was in all branches of the military.. AND GUESS WHAT.. my brother is going into AIR Force next year after he graduates form high school. He wants to serve his country so what the fuck is wrong with that? My father told me if you don't have any respect for the military nor say anything nice about them.. then SHUT YOUR MOUTH!

Sorry some comments here that I have read made me !

Wait minute, u saying THOSE SOLDIERS have fought so hard to keep the freedom for this our country? Those soldiers fought for other country not ours. Bush uses our men and women to go and help other country and they paid for their price, their death. He lied to us and he is coward for never went to Vietnam war., I want all those men and women to come home alive not dead. It made me so mad that our men and women never get to live and see. Leave us alone who are against the stupid war which should never have started in first place. My father was a soldier so I knew what it is alike to have a dad and a veteran. I hate every thing about military because of what war did to my dad and to my family. I can see it going do same thing happen to many families who will have to go thru same sh*t that we went thru. I feel sorry for them. I won't allow my sons to join army or AFB because of Bush. No thanks. Iraq war is 100 percent wrong in first place.

Good for u to be a military nurse and I wish I could but they would never allow deaf nurses to go there and help them. Consider yourself lucky cuz u can hear.

U forgot one thing she never went to front line and killed many men as my dad did.

Well I was an ARMY brat, am now married to a former Russian Interpreter for the Air Force.

.
Small world, my neice is also former Russian Interpter for AFB for 8 years and now she works at homeland security. She makes damn good money there. Thank God she left AFB right before USA invaded Iraq.

Short answer is no...

Anti-war is means people who against on war but support armies to stay in country and do something with mission in their home country, instread of cause massive death in horrible war, such as Iraq and Vietnam was old time, of course. Don't need be rant or blame at me or Liebling for being anti-war, that is our personal feeling and you need show some respect on personal feeling.

If people who don't support armies then supposed to call anti-military or anti-patriot.

They don't get it, we get soldiers who came home from wars with so many problems and we do not have enough resources or money to help them out. Our government did not do enough for them. I guess because our government are flat broke right now to help them out.

None of them were drafted.

Yeah but all males who turn 18 have to sign the card and send it to center place which it is waiting to be draft that is if congress decided to bring draft back. We have recuriters who go to high school and tried to recurit them with their lies. U get education and training but they never tell them u go to war and get be killed. I know of cuz they kept calling my house everyday trying to recurit my sons to join.

*E*X*A*C*T*L*Y*

The war-supporters are ignorant and do not understand those difference. *shake my head disguistly.*

My dad has joined Marines service in 1972 until 1993 then retired due medical reason and age.

Yes I am with you on this...

Europeans know for a long time that Bush only use soliders for oil business... It´s really sad that the people are too blind and thought the soliders fought to keep the freedom for their country. Everyone must have known if the soliders are sent to go Iraq to make a war is not "fought to keep the freedom for your country" but attack and kill them there.

BBC NEWS | Programmes | Newsnight | Secret US plans for Iraq's oil

It prove us that what they did is fight hard/defend hard to keep the freedom for our country if the soliders stay in our country to take care of the people and country and watch emenies for attack our country. I respect them for that but went to enemies´s country to make a war... is fought the freedom of our country??? No, it´s ATTACK and KILL them..., not defend and fight against them. This is a difference.

How many will Bush allow to die in Iraq before he gets his "benchmarks"
