There is nothing here to indicate he would have waited in his car if he had not had a gun. I don't believe that would have been the case.
Yes I know. I was just saying that it does make sense to me and maybe a lot of you that he would have most likely stayed in his car if he did not have a gun with him but since he did, he must have felt invincible since he had something to protect himself from danger.
If you were carrying a gun, are you more likely to walk on any street with less fear than if you had no gun?
It's exactly same as psychology as the paradox of road safety (this was already researched and documented). The psychologists noted that the more advanced cars are with air bags, ABS brake, seat belts, crash sensors, etc... the more reckless drivers gets because it gave them a false sense of security that they would survive from terrible accidents. That's why they drive faster and recklessly. Are you more likely to drive safer if your car was not equipped with safety technology (ABS brake, seat belts, and air bags) than with safety technology?
