A family member of mine had an abortion when she was a teenager and now she is 40 years old. She said her parents had the final say and she thanks them for making the decision for her cuz she realized that she was too emotional at the time as a kid. I remember asking her if she had any regrets..she said that she does....u know what the regret was? Getting pregnant in the first place.

:gpost:

Not every teenager or person going to be scarred from an abortion. Especially, if you get good aftercare. Even a teenager can heal if you give them proper guideance and good aftercare.

Then, take her to where the doctors throw the babies away in trash. Show it to her in this REAL life, not just " talk " but, to walk with it by showin' it. Same goes for adoption. Take her to the adoption agency and question them herself. It may help her to THINK things over before she can make up her own mind.

huh?

That's grossly unnecessary and impractical. Most of the medical waste is disposed of in the surgical suite. You wouldn't want to bring someone in off the street due to sterile conditions. That's highly dangerous to the person having the procedure as it introduces a risk of infection.

I dont think that is permitted for someone off the streets to be around biological waste.

You are entitled to your opinion, but making a blanket statement like you did is inaccurate. Just because it happened to you doesn't mean it's going to happen to another teen. Deal with that.

Show me where did I say anything about me? I did not tell him what had happened to me could happen to your daughter, did I or not? did not. All I told him that it could in fact ruin his relationship with his daughter, "could" does not mean "will"

You've been on my back ever since I stepped a foot on this thread, I don't know if you're doing this on purpose, but knowing you and your threats through pm is a possibility. It's time to stop, starting right now. :ty:

Let's get out the boxing gloves!

Just kidding but seriously...*waving peace flag* here. :)

WTF.

Are you that cruel?

I'm talking about education. Prevention of STD and pregnancy. It is about preventing them from even having to make that choice. Birth control that prevents them from getting pregnant in the first place.

Not about abortions.

good grief lady!

Understand what I say and don't cut out part of my post and twist it. If you want to reply to my post. Quote the whole story.

Oh, wow, how rude of you. Just cos somebody else has a child at young age does not make her less successful.

Recurrently, Melika did go to BSD (Basic Skilled Development) [sorta of like GED] last September 2008 until she completes her needs before she can go to the real college. I don't know her plans are but, probably for only two years, I think? Ask her. As for the real college, she is not decided where she want to go yet, she just wants to complete BSD first. So I'm sure she will decide wherever she go when she is done with her needs and her BSD. I strongly am sure she can do it.

Clearly, not every young mother is unsuccessful. So, just don't assume a such thing... Thanks~

 How did know where to find it? Did you just happened to walk by and found it? This is very interesting.

I was in that room when I was 17 years old. I saw everythin' what doctor did. He used vacuum to pull 12 weeks old fetus out and the fetus was already dead in an almost full of blood in a container. The fetus' limbs were torn apart, floatin' in the blood. The nurse told me that it will go to the tiolet to flush away when I asked her what she do with it. The container was covered with a white cloth and it sat on the top of the vacuum before the nurse took it off. I can see very clear that the fetus already have 10 fingers/toes, arms, legs, and a whole body - a very tiny fetus that could fit in your bare hand. Its eyes were developed but, both eyes were shut.

FYI, I was there to experience this cruel. I was NOT in biological waste room, but I was in that room for a short of time of biological waste, because of the abortion was taken place and it was in a container with almost full of blood.

This dead fetus' mother was me. I was forced to experience this cruel when it happened. Of course, I wasn't asleep when the abortion was performed. My body was sedated like a " drunk " but, my head stayed alert like I know what was goin' on. I was fully aware of every detail that was goin' on in that room.

so? if they're not adopted, then they're placed in foster homes. that's better than being aborted.

Overburden over social services system where it can fall into the cracks and at taxpayer's expense. Real smart.

byrdie,

you're deaf/hoh. how would you like it if your birth mother decided to abort you because you couldn't hear?

that's *not* right.

My mother is deaf/hoh to begin with.... Your question doesn't apply.

Byrdie714 said that if his daughter was alive today, and she told him that she is pregnant, He would have her go get an abortion. He already made up his mind what he wants for his daughter. How is that open communication? It's not.

Simple: show them the money.

Oh, wow, how rude of you. Just cos somebody else has a child at young age does not make her less successful.~

It wasn't a rude question.

So you choose to have an abortion? Again, you made the choice to abort it, doesn't give you the right to tell other women not to abort it. The only thing you can do is to share your story.

That's all.

Thank you for sharing your story.

However, just because it was a bad experience for you, it doesnt mean that u can choose for other women.

 which could in fact ruin your relationship with your daughter. The idea of forcing a minor to have an abortion just strikes me as a bit ridiculous.

I know the article is outdated but I still want to share it. :)

I'm not attacking you Cheri. I'm merely pointing out that your inferenced that what happened to you will happen to others is wrong.

You asked me to show you where you said it. You inferred it here above.

Wow Maria!
That sounds terrible from the way you describe it. My heart goes out to you and I know how awful it can be, been there done it.

Oh whatever think all you want, because I did not say anything about myself. It's all in your head.
