Why not? Because he is not a flaming idiot like some (A very small number, BTW) of the Conservatives that post here?
Want to name a few, SWK?....

Are you certain at this point that TM didn't commit a crime (assault) against GZ? I thought you were waiting for the evidence & trial?!
I doubt it! Nothing has been proven yet! Remember, you said you were going to wait for the trial?! What happened to the waiting part?!
Really? Did you find out why he was dismissed?
He avoided conviction by agreeing to participate in a pre-trial diversion program that included anger-management classes.
It's interesting how the more facts that come out in support of Zimmerman's story, the more certain some people become of his guilt and even of the sentence he is going to receive.
Will there be any shame, admission of being wrong, rethinking of the positions that led you to this point if Zimmerman doesn't get a life sentence or the death penalty?
Or will the libel (which is actually a crime) just get worse? This will be interesting to watch.
The lead homicide investigator in the shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin recommended that neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter the night of the shooting, multiple sources told ABC News.
But Sanford, Fla., Investigator Chris Serino was instructed to not press charges against Zimmerman because the state attorney's office headed by Norman Wolfinger determined there wasn't enough evidence to lead to a conviction, the sources told ABC News.
According to Think Progress, Wolfinger has since removed himself from the case.
Was Wolfinger doing a favor for a retired judge? The blog Hinterland Gazette believes that may be the case.
It should be noted that George Zimmerman may have received favorable treatment from the police because of his family.?According to court records, his father is retired Supreme Court Magistrate Judge Robert Zimmerman and his mother Gladys Zimmerman was a court clerk. Connections in the legal community run deep and go far.
Might this also explain the younger Zimmerman's record that includes three "closed arrests"?
Another blog, RollingOut.com , puts it like this:
According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.
All three of those arrests, however, were mysteriously closed with no semblance of charges for the Florida resident. So how was someone with a violent past including that of battery against an officer able to carry a 9 mm handgun? Maybe that’s a question Robert Zimmerman should answer.
RollingOut goes on to list the arrests and cases in question.
If anyone convicted of misdemeanor crime so they will be disqualified from get government jobs and become a law enforcement officer?
Misdemeanors usually do not result in the loss of civil rights, but may result in loss of privileges, such as professional licenses, public offices, or public employment.
are you sure you're not confusing me with koko?
Plausible, perhaps?

Nope, definitely not! No confusion here! I believe that it was your post suggesting the chair and also your post claiming that TM didn't commit a crime. See posts #115 & #154 to refresh your memory!

Wrong and wrong again! It would have to be a felony to disqualify one from these jobs not a misdemeanor. This I know!

wrong? he's just asking a question. calm down. deep breath. calm down.
and...?
koko and you guys are allowed to guess that Zimmerman would be freed but I'm not allowed to guess that Zimmerman would be found guilty and executed?
I lol'ed at your first sentence.I've never suggested or guessed about anything concerning this case. Speculation maybe! I also find it hard to believe that he will be convicted or at least fairly!
it's not leaked. it was released. Florida is one of the most transparent states.Way too much information leaked to the public!
that's why I said witness is the most unreliable source in criminal case.Way too much recanting of stories by supposed witnesses! Their stories are worthless at this point as should be their testimonies. They are no longer credible! There are two sides to every case and every coin!
