What an evil corporation!
I believe there is a tax on only prepared food in SC so there is no tax at the grocery store, right? Here in Mass we have meal tax as well and excise tax for vehicles. We are one of the most taxed states while NH does not have a sales tax or a state income tax.
Personally, I would rather see a jobs per-revenue solution instead of a tax solution because the top 1% is never going to give up the money. IMO, the more revenue a business makes the more jobs a business should provide(businesses create work). In the days of the railroad, jobs increased because there was no mechanized labor. In the current Information Revolution, you don't need as many worker to create software. The solution is to create jobs based on revenue. What keeps the economy going is the movement of money.
Nowhere in that link, or in anything that I've heard or read from Perry, or any other Republican candidates, made negative remarks about Mormons.
Perry wasn't the person who said that Mormonism is a cult."n Texas Gov. Rick Perry and called on him to disavow comments from an ally who likened his faith to a "cult."!
Calling Mitt Romney faith a ' cult' it a negative remark!
I mean both parties are blaming one another for what happening with the economy. All this blaming does not solve anything! I wish both sides could stop blaming one another and work together and get our country back on track!! Both sides need to shut up and do something. I can't believe the candidates are taking about Mitt Romney being a Mormon, when people are worried about the economy.
I was referring to the Right admitting their own mistakes. Do you really believe that only one group is making mistakes, and the other is virtually flawless?Let's see more admissions from the Left. The Right has been screaming about all these flaws for years and they have been called nutjobs and racists.

In bold, yes, I cannot believe about anyone took too personal about Mitt Romney to being Mormon; however his religion isn't reason that I dislike him. I dislike his views, especially conservative views and anti-gay rights so it has nothing with his religion.
I do not like Mitt Romney, he was governor of my state and I did not agree with him then and sure agree with him now! My dog Marty is looking better all the time to vote for!! He could win on his looks! I wonder if some women are voting for Mitt because they think he is 'handsome'!
I think your dog is a more viable candidate than any of the Republicans that I've seen so far.
It is sad to me, as a middle of the road, to see how much bias flows out from both sides. Everybody hollers and points. Nobody listens and cooperates. Typical "my way or the highway" politics; making decisions that are not working out very well for the majority of us. Obama refuses to sign bills, Republicans refuse to let bills through, Democrats gathering to block bills. Result: economic disaster 2011. I can hardly wait for the Conservatives to regain power, so we can have another couple of years of swinging the pendulum the other way, while the incoming group blames the past lawmakers for "the mess we're in" and the outgoing group whines "where is that change you promised" on Inauguration day. Lovely. You know that I have at least
Herman Cain is getting my vote for 2012.
I saw Rick Perry wife on the news tonight taking about Herman Cain 999 tax plan. And Mrs. Perry said "every time she hear about the 999 tax plan she wanted to call 911! " HUH!! She did not say why she wanted to call 911. I thought that was an odd thing to say and I am not sure what she meant by it!
Rick Perry was on TV and he said it will allow there to be drilling on off limit places Perry said he not let the environment keep him from drilling!! The guy is a nightmare! I do not like Cain plan of having taxes on food and clothing and I am crazy about Obama! I have no one I want to vote for!! I think all the candidates stink!!The midwestern pipeline - anyone who cares about the environment would be opposed to it. The one in Alaska has chronic constant oil spills and leaks that is destroying the environment. Try doing research on pipelines sometime and you would understand why new pipelines should not be built. If you think going green is worse than destroying land, water and air, then I don't what to say.
Gibson Guitar got shut down because the unfinished wood they were buying from India was violating Indian laws. The US upheld the laws, boo hoo.
Obama didn't try to shut down the Boeing operations in South Carolina, he wanted them to not take work from from existing Boeing union workers in Puget Sound by transferring operations to SC where non-union workers would be. There would have no new jobs created if Obama allowed the transfer.
Boeing COULD have recalled most of its jobs that it exported overseas if they cared so much about giving work to Americans. They didn't.
Yes, that 8% promise, that's going to haunt Obama's administration for a long time.
That's probably why Republicans are so reluctant to give any numbers to jobs their proposals would generate. They're very vague.
As for Solyndra, FBI raided the executives' offices - presumably because Solyndra lied about the state of their finances at the time they applied for the loan. I agree, that was a bad deal overall.

I'd like to fire the whole lot... (politicians)
I'd like term limits on all public offices -
I'd like to 'fix' the pension issue...
I'd like them to revisit -why- some of the rules were made in our founding documents- (IE 2 Senators)
I'd like accountability checks anyone who misses more then xx% votes gets fired also there would be a 'proficiency quiz' on whatever they are voting one to see if they bothered reading it.
I'd like the documents proposed to these people to be as short as linguistically possible and a simple as humanly possible.
I'd like politician pay to reflect the pay of other public servants, teachers, police, firefighters- whatever the average is for their district (local, state, national).
I'd like to do something with the electoral collage... not sure how I'd go about that though...
Everyone should have all of their paperwork in order before campaign - all certificates of legality, full voting history (on house or senate items), record of decisions made in office, recordings of all public appearances (non edited)... then each candidate can just point people to that- "See here's the real story, yes I said/did/voted that - here's why."
Also an option to vote "No confidence" I'm tired of guessing who's the lesser of in the end two evils.
