Thinking about that Nakeed guy in NY's Times-Square yelling..."Donald Trump!...where are you?"...from what I saw...he really needs a shave and a wax....LOL...finally fell off the platform and they took him to Bellevue Hospital.

Yes , there's local dog beaches in the beach cities. We can actually take the dog in the water and hang out on the sandy beaches.

Dogs are allowed to walk on the pier with you.
Some shops allow the dog to come in the store like no food shops. The beach appears to be dog friendly for the most part. If you dine outside the patio depends on restaurant some owners will allow the dog to join you for lunch. Not all restaurants some.
 
I guess you have to take them to another state in order to smell them.

Dogs were allowed to run lose in off season at the beach but too many dog owners weren't picking up after their dogs and there piles of poops everywhere! So dogs have to be on their leashes now.

The dogs can run leash free on the beach. They can go in the water as well. It's very nice to have a dog friendly beach
 
I'm not surprised about fireworks starting early here.. some people either can't wait or just want to have fun with fireworks.
 
Fireworks, its a week long event...start small, like duling banjoes vs someone blocks away..see who can go one up! then build up to the grand finale.

Phew.. well people in NC have to go to SC in order to buy fireworks to smell... lol.

We hear them around here- usually starting the day or two before the holiday (not just Independence Day).
 
There is a huge fireworks store somewhere on I-80 and people go so far there to buy illegal stuff and bring it home.

Some people spoiled it for everyone in my city. There is the woods the next a river and people can let their dogs swim in that but it's very hard to get to.



There is huge firework store in NH , there is no sale taxes in NH so people can buy a lot of fireworks illegally . When I lived in Whitethorn , Ca. the old timers
shot off their guns and rifles into the air on the fourth ! That was a first for me !

I know what you mean, it's sad when others spoil the fun for everyone else. I think people still do that shot gun in the air stuff. Be safe out there over the weekend.
 
It used to always be illegal in MN. So we had to go to Wisconsin to buy them to smell. I'm only about 20 miles from the WI border so not a big deal. But they've since made it legal here in MN.
