Yep, that why current government have got 3 failed budgets. Other parties won't allow their budget each year to pass. So thankful the other senators voted down their budgets esp it included American Style Health care.

Australia is a little nuts lol. If you go the 'American style', many poor people will go without insurance... and surprise- pass on the costs to the insurance.. who then pass it on to the consumers. It also wrecks the poor person's finances (a friend of mine went through that).

Thinking and maybe looking forward to go over the hill soon...
 
next year will be 5 years since I went over that hill. Hard to believe how fast time flies. I remember thinking, "wow, I will be 40". Then the next thing I know, I am 44. WTF?
 
Someone was shooting off fireworks just now near my condo . It really not dark out yet to see them good.
 
sometimes there are fireworks that explode at a lower level so easy to see in daytime. Many also just explode on the ground too. BIL had those kinds years ago.

Fireworks etc going off now here- BOOM. Wonder if poor Kanga is up in the bedroom closet again.

I'm surprised I haven't heard fireworks yet. Maybe tonight. We're going to the carnival in town for junk food. I hope we can find parking.
 
I am thinking my doggie is good with her dog treats to last at least 5 months lol
