Trayvon Case Investigation

Good. So, you know nothing about any reports. The EMT would be the first to see the extent of his injury and I imagine would be questioned for it in court or least on paper to be presented in court about the nature of his injury. And I imagine there'd be other reports about other findings on what led to that injury, etc.

Sit back and wait until the court is done with this whole thing.

Right. The EMTs would be the first to see the extent of his injuries. And since they are trained to decide if those injuries are serious enough that the person needs to go to the hospital, and they didn't take him to the hospital, it is pretty safe to say they did not see his injuries as serious.

Yeah, I would say the prosecution has some evidence on how those injuries occurred, because it was stated under oath at the bond hearing that there was evidence that it was not self defense.

Yes, but that's not a guarantee that his injuries would not manifest itself at a later time since any injuries involving the head caused by blows would increase the potential injury to the brain and surrounding matters as I have said. We'll have to wait and see what the EMT reported on GZ's injuries in court.

No more speculative than talking about brain damage.:D

Never speculated that he has brain damage. That was your doing by saying that that I was saying that. I pointed out that blows to the head doesn't always manifest itself immediately in terms of seeing neurological damage. I made that perfectly clear.

You specualted on the possiblity of him getting brain damage in the future because of the two little cuts on his head that didn't even take stitches.

You can get brain damage from getting hit in the head with no outward signs...

Yeah, so a serious injury to the head would be a reason to take someone to the hospital and get them checked out. Even more of a chance then.

But again, no evidence of a concussion, no evidence of any brain damage complications, no evidence of anything but a couple of cuts that didn't even take stitches.

That "broken nose" sure did heal up quick. No sign of it at his bond hearing.
Broken noses can heal in a few weeks, and look normal even before they are completely healed.

And no medical evidence or photos showing anything wrong with his nose at all. Defense is going to have to come up with some medical reports.
That's right. They will at the trial. No evidence for either side has been presented yet. That happens during the trial.

...The picture is taken supposedly by a neighbor, and has not been secured as evidence. It was floating out there for a while. Didn't even come out until after Zimmerman was already charged.
How do you know what has or has not been secured as evidence?

I guess Zimmerman should have allowed himself a few more serious bonks to the head before defending himself. Maybe he should have waited until he was knocked unconscious.

You do realize in a self-defense case one doesn't have to wait until they are severely injured in order to strike back?

No speculation was done on my part. I merely laid out the facts that even a minor head injury caused by a blow to it can manifest itself days, weeks or even months later into a brain injury. Just because an EMT checks out a person with a minor head injury caused by a blow and says he's fine and sees no signs of concussion doesn't mean there is no injury to the brain which can be a simple but small bleed which could compound itself days, weeks or months later that only a CT scan would pick it up. No speculation on my part.

...What would you do if you were minding your own business walking home, and someone came up to you after you noticed them following you and started giving you shyt about why you were on a public sidewalk?
As soon as I noticed them following me, I'd hustle on out of there as fast as possible. I wouldn't wait for them to come up to me.

Not necessarily. The patient can refuse to be taken to a hospital. I've been in accidents, and the EMT's asked if I was OK, or if I wanted to go the hospital. I told them I was fine, and I didn't want to go the hospital. They didn't try to persuade or force me to go. As long as the patient is ambulatory, they pretty much let you decide for yourself.

Because it was already stated that the pic of his head taken by a neigbor was sent to NBC or ABC after the pics of him being taken in for questioning were released. So, it couldn't have been secured as evidence the night the shooting happened.

If that is, he was even receiving bonks to the head.:cool2: That hasn't been proven yet. All we know is he had a couple of little cuts to the back of his head. No proof how he got them.

Could be that he got them when Martin was standing his ground and defending himself from George's confrontation.

Like I said, inside the human skull isn't always so smooth. Each person's skull development is different where some protrusion may be a bit rugged that blow to the head in that area could cause problems. A head blow doesn't have to be hard. Review the medical history of people getting blows to the head that wasn't even serious at all who ended up having neurological complications.

Which is why people with minor head injuries when struck in a particular way sometimes ended up having complications while those with more serious head injuries sometimes get away on developing no neurological complications.

armchair medical examiner and detective, I see. why don't you wait and let the medical examiner testify or wait for medical documents to be released?

you have zero experience in this kind of injury or brain injury. you do not know what inside skull looks like. you do not know what exactly happened with Zimmerman's head. you do not know what medical document shows. why are you still flapping your gums around and ending every single post with "let the court clear it up for us"? lemme guess.... disclaimer notice?

You weren't being taken to the police station. The police don't want the liability of an injured person in their custody having complications from an injury while in their custody and be charged with negligence because the person didn't get properly checked.

Maybe he banged his own head on the concrete to throw off the dogs... :hmm:

How do you know that isn't what Trayvon Martin was doing? After all, he was shot only about 70 yards from the door of where he was headed. Might have been trying to get there, but was confronted. After all, he was the one being followed, not doing the following.
