Roe v. Wade - For Men

Well, how would YOU answer the question in the post above mine?

Oh wait .... never mind, I already know. :giggle:

where?

and a question for you - how is this related to this thread?

don't see any dots since these posts are irrelevant. wondering why haven't you made a new thread about it.

I thought this thread is about this 25-years old guy wanting to "opt" out of child support for his ex-gf's daughter because he was "lied" to. nobody got raped here.

Ok, I can see where your confusion is. You got lost a few pages back.

confusion? not at all. I guess you still haven't realized you're confused yet. oh well. I guess it's gonna be few more pages. or maybe never if this thread get locked.

Steinhauer, how do you propose we solve this false rape issue?

Concrete evidence? Need to find DNA in vajajajay? Videotape it?

Man could say it was consensual. "She does like it kinky."

Lie detector test?

Man could say that they are inadmissible.

What then?

I see no solutions, Steinhauer.

Honestly, I think you know that there are no solutions, you just want people to wake up and rethink about the typical cases of rape, typical cases of pregnancy, and so on. Trying to give more support and more sympathy to fathers/men, instead of automatically giving the blame to men without reading the details of the case.

Because that's the only solution I see in order to reduce those false rape cases without letting the rapers go. Listen to both sides of the story and make the best judgment.

What solution do YOU see?

irrelevant and impertinent. nothing to absorb especially for this thread.

No crap, Sherlock?

The entire day, I was thinking:

"What the hell does domestic abuse and sexual assault got to do with someone trying to opt out of fatherhood in a consensual relationship?"

Absolutely nothing. But I think Steinhauer wants "more rights" or, at least more sympathy, for men in general.

So basically, if you look through this thread, it goes something like this:

*shows an example of opting out fatherhood* "See! Men don't have rights!"

"Yea, but *insert logical and realistic reasoning here*"

*shows an example of men not being able to decide in terms of abortion* "See! Men don't have rights!"

"Yea, but *insert logical and realistic reasoning here*"

*shows an example of sexual assault* "See! Men don't have rights!"

"Yea, but *insert logical and realistic reasoning here*"

I don't see him actually arguing BACK... only providing more case examples of something irrelevant to the actual thread. Only relevant to "rights" of men or at least abuse of men by women.

We could always go back several years to the time that it was assumed that every woman was responsible for the fact that she was raped, and men were just acting on their natural sex drive! (NOT!)

Virtually nothing. It is just a distraction technique to attempt to make points salient.

If you don't see the relation between false rape allegations and the Roe v. Wade case, then I can't help you.

Besides - I just gave some damning evidence that over 1/2 of rape allegations are lies. Why don't we stick with the latest trend (not that of 20, 30, 40 or even 50 years ago)?

To answer a question above, no, I am not saying there needs to be "more sympathy" for men, I am saying there needs to be more "equality" because as of right now, there is none.

Yes, if women have the option to opt out - men should too.

7 Supreme Court judges. SEVEN! If you can't understand the foundation of Roe v. Wade which is extending constitutional rights to privacy for women... then we can't help you especially seven Supreme Court judges.

There is no relationship. Roe v Wade was based on the premise of confidential contact and treatment between a physician and the patient. Obviously, you don't even know the legal priciples behind the Roe v Wade case. Therefore, you cannot be expected to see proper and accurate correlations.

Was a "false allegation of rape" made by the plaintiff?

No coorelation eh?

umm ... ok

false allegation of rape. constitutional rights to privacy for women.

please for the love of God.... please do tell me how those two issues are related to each other.

The plaintiff in the Roe v. Wade case .... watch the bouncing ball ..... made a false rape allegation.

Does feminism have a coorelation to abortion? Does the sad number of men refusing to grow up have a coorelation to feminism?

Think!

Yes, if women have the option to opt out - men should too.

Opt out means only 2 things. 1) Men can force women to get an abortion or 2) men should be free from paying child support at all times.

I doubt you'd be all for the number 1 reason.

As for number 2 reason, I think you know very well that a large number of men will refuse to help out if it isn't required by law. I don't want to hear that "Omg you're a man hater!" bs. It's reality.

I remember you saying something like, men being free to pay child support will make the women be more careful and have less babies. I'm not sure if you are talking about less babies as in more abortions or less babies as having safe sex.

If you are talking about the latter.... if paying child support doesn't make men more careful, then why would the threat of no child support make women more careful?

Btw.. when you say more equality, you do realize that you are talking about "more equality for those who do not want to take responsibility." I don't see an inequality for those who take responsibility, do you?
