Richard Matt And David Sweat, Convicted Murderers, Escape From New York Prison

There is a $100,000 reward for giving tips that help find both men , $50,000 for one man. I sure would love to help and get some $$$.
 
Hahaha, theres way! Dont u realize us borders arent that secure as u might think... Nate Norman brought double digits millions dollars of weeds, acrossed borders without going though US customs and without getting caught. Took Feds more than 2 years before they realize this. Since that had happened before so therefore theres good chances that they already have acrossed the border.

If you read in the news, they mentioned that Federal Marshal have notified authorizations in both countries Canada and Mexico... Why do you think they alerted them instead of International border customs? Cause they (Feds) knows that there is holes in border security system.

Yeah there are a lot way to leave country and these 2 guys are smart , in fact smarter than the guards to been able to pull this escape off. I heard on the news that they could already be in Canada or Mexico by now or be anywhere. I hope they're brought back in before they kill anyone else. I wonder if they got inside help from a guard.

Convicted murderers and dangerous inmates are highest priority than drug trafficking so state and federal are getting immediate attention about prison escape, also they alerted to Canadian authorities as well.

Mexico? It will take few days to get in Mexico, also prison escapees prefer to avoid US when they are closer to Canada, otherwise, they can be caught easily when they head to Mexico.

There have been cases where many escapees went to Mexico and didnt get caught for years. Most got caught when they try come back to US.

Good luck with authorities today.

I support anyone to shoot 2 escaped inmates to death.

When they are captured so they are very likely to serve in solitary confinement in other state prison that where escape is impossible.

It is depending on priorities.

For convicted murderers - highest priority (more intensive, aggressive manhunt and ro@dblock)

For convicted drug offense (possession of heroin or sell drugs) - lesser priority (there will be manhunt but it will be not around longer or state could normally alert law enforcement over greater area without manhunt)

I don't care if convicted drug offenses escape from prison but I do seriously care about worst criminal like murderers and child rapists.

Alabama prisons are understaffed and it make more risk to escape, also Level 6 (maximum security) prison is about 5 miles away from our house.
 
If you escape from prison so you could get much as 10 years or 20 years additional for escape.
 
To them, its NOTHING... You forgot they got NOTHING to lose. They are there for LIFE.

Say, you are 35 years old, and you got life sentence plus say 100 years, okay so you escape, that would cause your years increase to 120 years, would that make any difference to you? The chances are, you will laugh.

When one has life sentence, they have nothing more to lose really. Adding more years is pretty much like a joke.

lol... they will be in solitary confinement for rest of life - isolation and lockup for 23 hours everyday.
 
Foxrac, you forgot something important... It isn't the first time Matt have escaped from prison, probably his second time or third time. Since he had escaped before, I bet ass that he learn mistakes from previous escape, so he won't even want to repeat same mistake thus making recapture even harder.

This is why these scumbags got nothing to lose.

Since more than 24 hours have lapsed, this case has gone cold already.
 
There are several possibilities.

Matt, who has "Mexico Forever" tattooed across his back, may head for there alone, even though it's further away because he might have a support network of friends and family there.

Sweat may head alone for Canada, or lay low in the US. What is the benefit of fleeing to Canada? If he's caught there he'll be sent back to the US.

So, they could be staying together, in the US, in Canada, or in Mexico. Or, they could have split up and gone in any number of different ways.

The manhunt could be hard. The past shows us that some escapees get away, some get captured, so it could go either way. One could get caught and one not. The reward that's offered might help get them.

I just hope they get caught before anyone else gets hurt.
