I already did.

you're confused...... better re-read these links slowly and carefully.

so... why would he be announcing to the world that he'll sacrifice golfing because he did not want some mom whose son may have recently died to see him playing golf one year before the war?

Are you saying Bush shouldn't have cared at all and kept playing golf? WOW! The hypocrisy ....

why don't you figure it out? did I really say that?

confused as usual. what I'm saying is that timeline is very very off in TXGolfer's post. why would Bush say such thing LONG before war started? he has a crystal ball or something? beside.... TXGolfer's got everything wrong.

That is because the left is blind to their double standards.

thank you for finally admitting that there is a hypocrisy and double standard on right side too.

Are you putting words in my mouth again?

I said the LEFT ... not the right.

In this specific thread, which is about Obama playing far more golf than Bush, there is a double standard.

A classless dirty low down double standard that the left is trying to shrug off.

Very off? Even quitting in 2003 would mean 62 months without playing.... That's 21 months longer than Obama's Presidency to date. And that's if we assume the Olbermann vitriol as fact...... I wonder how Keithy is doing.... :hmm:

Besides Bush is in the past and his comments were a recollection of the past. Obama is saying and doing these things at the same time and that is where the hypocrisy is found

I recollect not caring if Bush played golf. I don't care if he plays today. I was more concerned with when and where Cheney went hunting. :giggle:

I also don't care that Obama plays golf an average of 30 times a year. Obviously, someone does. Why would someone keep tabs on this?

Because he is the current President, flying all over the nation pandering to the poor with lines like "shared sacrifice" and "I will not rest". We saw people fall for the "hope and change"/"transparent" BS....so it's important to remind them they should base their vote on the person not the slogan this time. It's not so much about the golf as it is "Hey poor people, you are being duped again". Most won't listen, but hopefully a few will. That's the war we fight.

Very off?
oh yes... very very off!

and.....?

I don't see any problem if he's golfing a lot especially since he has accomplished 2 vital goals - Osama bin Laden and MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! for good (as in troop withdrawal). oh about golfing during bad economy? I don't blame him. Must be very arduous and strenuous to deal with these stubborn buffoons 24/7/365.

"trivial" is a matter of perspective of course. :)

Feel free to be concerned with how many times he golfs while I worry about whether or not if he gets the job done.

:ty: Oh, btw, IMO he is not getting the job done. :)

Yeah, that's right, TXgolfer. He's not getting the job done. His worry is to try and get a birdie.

I'm sure he's sorry for that and he's trying his best especially dealing with difficult people demanding that he finishes it today. He's got thousand of other jobs needing to be done too. Can't finish'em all today, I guess!

When I'm having trouble completing tasks I spend more time on the job.....That's just me. :)

With that swing? Nah, he is happy with a Par here and there.

that's fine if you choose to micro-manage and prefer to do everything yourself. some chooses to macro-manage and hire people to micro-manage it.

as long as it gets the job done, fine by me. I don't expect him to get most of his jobs done anyway. That's the reality of being President of the United States
