'Open Carry' Law Contoversy: Gun Owner Cited

Where did I say it was? You didn't ask a closed question. You asked an open ended question.

Did we ever get that yawning smiley?

I really don't understand your extraordinary irrational behavior in this thread. it's so ungraceful.

Did you see multiple quotes that you have said in my previous post? You have repeatedly stated that you have found statistics, CDC stats, numbers, studies, etc. that gave you a conclusive finding when in fact, the study conducted by National Academies did not find any conclusive from same source you used especially CDC because such data either did not exist or was inconclusive.

You have been given plenty of examples. In fact, naisho even posted examples for you. All you have to do is read the statistics.:laugh2: I am not responsible for the fact that you ignore information already provided for you.:cool2:

No such data or statistics conducted or compiled by National Academies came up with anything that supports your claim.

Would you say that your conclusion based on whatever & wherever you found is in complete agreement with National Academies' finding?

It isn't irrational. It is boredom with your ineffective arguments that have already been debunked several times over.

Let's focus, shall we? It is not my argument we're talking about.

We're focusing on your argument vs. National Academies' finding since your argument has no basis or any support since you've repeatedly stated that your findings are from CDC stats and whatnot.... and even National Academies which was collaborating with CDC too is unable to make any conclusion similar to your argument due to lack of stats and data.

So any comment about that?

You have bored me to the degree that focus is impossible.

People like me? Coming from a freepy feminazi

You have made some pretty ridiculous comments in this thread. If you only knew who was reading them ...

"Columbine was a crime of passion .... "

I know who is reading them. :h5:

Yep, people like you.:cool2:

You still need to work on your technique. That is a poor attempt at an insult. LOL
I know who's reading them. And I also know who is unable to understand them.:cool2:

Don't make me pull up some of the stuff you have said, Steiny. But we can start with this brilliant question: "Weren't they protesting segregation? LOL

Unlike you, I was able to admit I made a mistake. But since you were at the Kent State protests where the National Guard started "firing for absolutely no reason", and I wasn't even alive at the time - it is quite possible to make a mistake when segregation protests and war protests were happening in the same era.

BTW, you were not the only one at the Kent State protests. People who were not stoned have a better recollection of what actually happened.

And .... you are not the only one to have had classmates needlessly killed. Because colleges are criminal enabling zones, college students are easy victims for those who commit violent crimes. You are enabling criminals.

Another attempt at an insult? You really should take a break and refine your technique.:laugh2:

Looks like a case of Steiny can try to dish it out, but Steiny can't take it.:cool2:

I refer you back to post#859 that prompted the response.

The freepy feminazi remark?

"People like you"

Let's see .... you are going to fight tooth and nail to keep guns away "from people like me" .... hmmmm.

I have a CCW, have had the FBI background check, the GBI background check, the local Sheriff background check as well as the local Superior Court background check. A superior court judge granted me a CCW, as well as people JUST LIKE ME, a CCW.

Because you are somehow "frightened" by anyone who does not share your socio-political views, you feel they should be disarmed. Why?

It would appear that your supercillious nastiness would even go so far as to claim that people do not even know what the 2nd Ammendment is all about - but YOU are the one who does not have a clue.

Look at Chicago's recent ruling ....

ok, enough. to accuse jillio of enabling criminals is going a little too far.

Nope, I'm frightened by people that demonstrate an inability to think logically and make snap judgements against others. I'm frightened by people who show so much hate, intolerance, and fear of others walking around with a gun. I' am frightened by people who know so little thinking they know so much having a loaded gun in their pocket. Why am I frightened? Because people like that, and I include you in that group given what you have demonstrated, are likely to kill an innocent victim in their overzealous attempt to be somebody.

"Police need to be villified"

that is a direct quote.

you know, every once in a while, I will come across a real gem .... It would almost appear (not to me of course) that it is "ok" for certain protesters to attack police if they are in riot gear.

This whole discussion reminds me of something that happened to me and a few of my friends when we were in a video game arcade years ago. We were minding our own business, playing several different games, some were racing, some were flight simulators, etc. etc.

There was this one game based on the movie Terminator. It had these plastic type guns that the player would use as the controller. 4 players could play at the same time, and I think you had to pay something like $2 to play.

Anyways ... as were were playing, this group of middle aged women came up, out of nowhere, and started to block our view of the screen and ask us questions they claimed was for a "survey".

"Does playing this game cause you to be more aggressive?"

"What do you enjoy the most about holding that gun?"

"Do you get a sense of enjoyment when you see you destroyed a character on the screen with the gun?"

Well .... we knew what was happening, didn't respond and left. We approached the manager, he refunded us our money because these women totally screwed up our game that we had paid for.

We didn't get mad. We just sat back and waited for them to pester other patrons of the various games where guns were used.

One by one, we would get up, and out of the blue, start asking them in the middle of their "interview"

"Do you have any kids at home you can ask these questions to?"

"You know, I have a mom that probably wouldn't appreciate a strange woman following me around asking me what gave me a 'sense of enjoyment'"

"Do you enjoy interrupting people after they have payed to play a game?"

.....

:ty: for answering my question. I guess now... you can't use your same ole' argument again since your so-called conclusion has been debunked.

so with that..... it's finally over! :cool2:

Been proving you wrong for quite some time

You know the old phrase, "Don't bring a gun to a knife fight"? It has more than one application.

The phrase is "don't bring a knife to a gun fight". *headdesk*

Probably the most famous line from "The Untouchables" with Sean Connery

Edit: The exact line is somewhat racist so I won't put it on here.
