Brad, do you know why Gregg withdrew?
He withdrew because the Democrats were whining about BO putting a Republican in the position and he could not align himself with what BO is doing and support his decisions.
The Dem whining was because of a push to redistrict voting areas to give the Democrats an unfair advantage for # of members in congress and they knew Gregg would not allow it to occur - they had to get rid of him.

I would encourage everyone to look past the MSM sites and really research what the language of these bills is, research the underlying political movements.

I research everywhere for the truth of matters and do not trust the liberal run media.

Yup, I have agree with that about Gregg's reason and not trust with liberal media.

Reba, please check your PM.

If u know something, then it is your obligation to share it with the govt to warn them.

Not necessary. They have their own psychic/religious people to rely on. Billy Graham is one of them. :)

Sorry Reba, MSM "Main Stream Media"

BTW, love your new avatar, is that you?
Ha, ha, MSM just hit me before I got back to the computer. Duh, me!

Yes, that's me. That's my boot camp picture newspaper clipping from 1970. :giggle:

I thought I should throw in some avatars once in a while just to let the newbies know that I'm a "she."

BTW, is your avatar lilacs or hydrangea?

see The United States Misery Index

and which jobs will be created? President Obama mentioned the hospitality industry when no one will have money to pay for travel and the construction industry. Why no jobs like in the defense industry or S&T field?

Hospitality industry jobs, except at chef and management level, are mostly minimum wage and dependent on tips.

You are massively confused, my friend.

Sweetie, I am not massively confused. I read newspapers so many years ago that he does visited the White House and befriends with old Presidents in the past. That was BEFORE his wife was passed away.

To three posters above, isn't it about time you just simply don't answer that poster instead of ganging up, and being derisive? Makes ya look foolish.

Off topic, but I never saw a man called Reba. If your name was Mac or something it would be more necessary. But I do like your new avatar. :)

Yes..
I was quite wondering, which country would you have to be from where a man is called Reba?

Anyway Botti, don't forget to salute to your superior when addressing!

Hi Reba,
Beautiful picture. I hope you leave it up a while :)

My avatar is the big old Lilac Bush in the front yard of my house.
I love that bush, it just makes my spring. When it is in bloom I find any reason I can to walk by and just sniff :) Ahh, simple pleasures!!

Oh, I miss the smell of lilacs! We can't grow them in the South. :( We have hydrangeas, which look beautiful, but they have no scent. When we travel to Michigan, I enjoy smelling the lilacs in MIL's yard. :)

Sorry for off topic.

agreed to that
exactly and Im not prepared to gang up on even this view on how great Obama is gonna be, because well it is also that i would add a different take on the whole 'is obama gonna do a good job/ how much better he is compare to Bush" but in the long run I am not so sure........it is like yes he's more popular now, as having a decency to clean up the mess Bush spilled....but all the while the greening of american politics isnt going to be taken with ease or dare i say, without unrest, anger, protests and confrontations. I have a fairly mild level suspicion that in the long run America will hate Obama, (all depending oh how well they doctor up the Public relations and the handling of the reformation of 'new american ideology') because this coming-up movement will mean changing the entire view of how it is deemed as the american way of life, no more drag racing, no more Nascars, no more sports car, even no more SUVs , now the puzzling part is how are they actually going to market 'green cars' whereas in the last 20 years SUVs has rose up in popularity. This is what i mean, people wont want to adapt, not this quickly , even if they have it, there will be more bitching, adding to this, some might look back and say Bush was doing a good job all along to extend the period of the petroleum fuelled american way of life, you just never know.

that's all i know this is might be extremely unpopular but it is a 'thinking outside the box' view so there
