Obama supporters?

uh.... I just explained it. read again. letter by letter. You can do the homework yourself since you're puzzled by Pacman & my posts. I'll give you a hint - "$110 Billion Question"

Actually, no you didn't explain it. And I am not puzzled by your posts at all. I am simply asking you to give the details necessary to indicate the inherent flaws that will guarantee that a universal system will not work.

Here's a hint...any idea how much is being spent on catastrohic care for the uninsured?

in other word, "You get what you pay for." You're not getting what you pay for as you'd think in universal health care. I completely agree with you, Royale. It's important to have privatized medical cares as we have right now in USA to compete with each other. It's what drives the innovation and keeps the cost down (well we'll have to work on that issue). All we have to do is fix what we have now - it's more cost-effective and doable that way.... and certainly will be much more affordable for many.

And Obama's plan does not seek to do away with privitized care. It simply seeks to make health care available for all. He is not proposing socialized medicine.

It is not 50 percent that is taking out of my paycheck, FYI. It would bankrupt me if it were true.

Some percentage out of the income taxes which come from our paychecks goes into the health care costs.

Exactly. As it already does to pay for the Medicaid/Medicare system. People fail to recognize that they are already supporting this system of healthcare, not to mention paying for higher costs resulting from the treatment of the uninsured.

I find unfair for the people who live on SSI or whatever to get medicard which workers doesn´t... They work hard to pay tax for medicard, etc for SSI and then pay extra health insurance coverage for family. :(

Disagree, not only people who are on the SSI have the medicare, my cousin as single mother had the food stamps and medicare, and working too. I was used to work and still have the medicare too, also my brother work and earn the food stamps too. Also there are lot of people use the government's assistance for the college when they are after 23 or their parents was too poor. I know there's lot of people who don't get the SSI, but do get some assistance from the governments.

So don't put the people who on the SSI as target okay?

It´s healthcare issues, she referring to.

She ask the question why Puyo get SSI benefit and also Medicard as well from Government and against healthcare for all Americans because of government control... ? Yes, all Americans deserve the assistance from government is healthcare as the same as the people get SSI and medicard as well. If they are against healthcare for all Americans then they should also against SSI and medicard as well.

Do you think it´s fair for the workers/employers get nothing from Government in return when they work to pay tax to help low income people to get SSI benefit and medicard for free?

No that's not what I mean. My point is that I think the health benefit should be optional even though if the government still support. I can always tell the government I don't need the medicare and request them to stop sending me the medicare. The medicare benefit wasn't all my idea, it was my parent's idea for me to apply for the medicare, I have been telling them that I don't want it, the SSI is good enough for me, but they kept telling me that I should have it so I applied.

However I rarely use the medicare myself, but I am glad that not so many people pay for it like the universe health benefit that wasted so many of our money from those who don't want it.

All I want to say, it's sad to see some of people aren't really paying attention that the governments actually are trying to take your money.

I think it's sad that people are taking MY money through taxes.

I don't think you even understand what you're saying.

but with universal health care.... people are taking even MORE money from you and me via taxes. get it?

Naw it's not, your money go straight to those people who need help. Universe Health Benefit, your money go to the government before it go to help the people.

I don't think you even understand what you're saying.

Naw you don't understand me, you don't know enough of my politics POV.

This is a misleading information.

11% of healthcare insurance was being taken out of my monthly wage. It´s between 10% and 13% in different healthcare insurance companies in Germany.

I never heard that 50% tax out of monthly wage for healthcare.

Yeah, 50% sounds too ridiculous to be true.

Keep in mind, there's a disinformation campaign about universal healthcare that has been in place for decades.

Yes I aware about this... I did said "low income" in my previous post.

FYI: I quoted Karrissa´s post to interpret/explain what Jillo questioned her about.

The government is already taking my money to support the Medicaid/Medicare health system so that others can go to the doctor and receive health care.

The fact of the matter is, everytime you go to the doctor and hand over your medical card, you can thank me for providing some of the funds to pay your bill.

I don't mind, as long as it stops going toward wars.

Exactly. I would much prefer that my taxes assist a child living in poverty to get preventive health care services, than my tax money be used to blow children up.

Put in place and supported by the medical community.
