liebling,

who said that what i just wrote was off-topic? it isn't off-topic. aghori said he didn't give a shit about the rest of us who suffer from mental illness and i addressed his comment saying that the internet can be a place where we offer support and encouragement to others. what i find ironic is how someone can tell another person that their post is off-topic just because they don't agree with what was said.

if you'd like to have "crazy, wild fun" on the internet, perhaps you shouldn't read sensitive threads. if i'm expected not to read threads that trigger my rapid cycling, then you should be expected not to read threads that may be upsetting in nature.

well it is not in my control that alot of threads have combined fun and serious that i can't avoid reading it until i know its serious post then i skip that post and look at other posts. i do leave it alone and dont make any posts according to any poster's and respect for whoever post it. i focus on someone's else's posts that i would reply or make comments. it s not in my control of reading the combined with fun and serious posts in those threads.

it is in your control if you add ad'ers to your ignore list who write posts that are too sensitive for you to handle.

Hear Again, you have a problem with receiving criticism/feedback yet you have no problem hurling insults to others.

This is where I am trying to tell you that you need to take it easy .. BIGTIME with your emotional and psychological issues here in this forum.

Stop telling us we don't understand you! Of course I don't and I don't think I want to know you because the bipolar part of you always rips out at me.

Do you think that is easy to get to know a person? I take personal responsibility and I do not divulge other information about myself that I know is emotionally damaging. I keep them to myself and only share to family and close friends.

This is called personal responsibility. Maybe this is the wrong site for you to frequent?

if you say its in my control that i can provoke anyone's if they make serious posts which i dont do that! i see someone makes serious posts then i skip the posts and look at other posts. did you know every threads are ALMOSt all of mental health issues that i can't avoid reading it. If i knew the "mental health thread" i would not come to read it. If it's the "I confess to thread" I can read it but i see there are several mentioned in mental health as well. thats why i said it is not in my control.

Example:

Frisky Feline create a thread with a title "post dirty jokes"... It's up to ADers to post any dirty pictures to her thread... one of ADers come to rant/vent her/his health issues to her thread to end :topic: then fighting and upset each other... no jokes thread after that...

Mrs Bucket create a thread about crafts... ADer rant/vent her/his health issues to her thread to end :topic: - no more craft pictures after vent/rant to her thread...

Something relate to the title of thread, then you can vent/rant your health issues - share experience, etc or create your thread.

I hope you get what I am trying to explain you?

Frisky Feline & Mrs Bucket, please accept my apology for use your name as an example here.

NO, I am not saying that you wrote :topic: here but try to explain you.

aghori's post relate the title of creator's thread to express what he see... You know that ADers don't have to make post to each thread... It's up to ADer who want to make post to give other ADer support, feedback, etc. We would give you feedback, support etc when we know how to help you... but post the middle of debate threads to make :topic: which is not relate to the title of threads, that's what the thread creator tried to tell us...

liebling,

if i wish to respond to every post in this thread, that is my perogative.

liebling,

i've been on forums long enough to know what being on topic and off-topic mean.

Frisky Feline and Liebling - thank you so much beautiful ladies

You both echoed exactly what we've been trying to say.

It's as if this site is "One Flew over the cuckoo's nest!" and I don't even want to know who Nurse Ratched is!

it is in your control. that's what the ignore list is for.

funny how mrs bucket doesn't mind making jokes about those of us who wish to discuss mental health topics. nice.

i rather be skipping to read the serious posts than putting the ignore list. I don't have problem becaue i dont intent to provoke or talk back to anyone's serious posts. I see someone posts so serious then i leave them alone. I find my own way to seeking another posts. thats what i am doing since.

i am not kind of person who provokes anyone's posts that related with mental health or sensitive issues! in fact, i know this interent is just a fastasty like aghori and mrs bucket mentioned it.

yes I do agree that Internet does offer a solace to people but not all sites are for all and this AD is not for all either because it's not a "Pysch Ward" site. There are bunch of other sites specifically for that. The trend in AD changes every few months - few months ago... it was deaf-blind topic. Now it's mental health topic (to be specifically... PTSD/Abuse/Bipolar). But its sole purpose remains the same - a congregation for deaf people for general thing especially "deaf rant" and debates.

In short - I believe Mrs. Bucket & Aghori are saying - either STFU or grow a thick skin because this AD is not a "Pysch Ward" site. We cannot tip-toe on everything otherwise.... that would be pretty damn boring, si? There are other "Pysch Ward" related forums specifically for your special needs so go there! This site is NOT RECOMMENDED for serious mental-related users because you are expected to get mocked, trashed, triggered, etc. AD is for only one special needs - DEAF! and then bunch of general stuff just to spice it up.

KEEP IT COOL and don't forget to purchase Jiro's Special Edition Sunglasses for $19.95! :cool2:

i'm sorry, but i thought deaf people were affected by mental illness, no?

since that is the case, what's the problem with people offering support? telling us not to discuss mental illness is an unfair form of censorship.

the internet is not fantasy. while it is true that you can't believe everything you read on the internet, that doesn't mean someone can't receive support and encouragment from others who understand what they are going through. i've made many friends here on ad who know what it is like to have mental illness and to me, that is real.

We're both DeafBlind but don't be literally blind and mute to Jiro's sage wisdom and don't you dare say it's censorship because we are not equipped to handle other emotionally imbalanced members.

the internet is not fantasy.

remember it is in your word. that is your belief.

i consider this interent is fantasy in my own words. you see thats where we both have different opinions. so this interent is fantasy.
