Were you born/raised and/or from a 6th generation Culturally Deaf family like I am?...I'm gobsmacked if you say you're the same as me.

what difference does that make? i'm congenitally totally blind and completely deaf and blind. does that make me better than you? let's not play a game of "who knows more than the other" simply because one person was born Deaf and the other was not.

i was specfically talking about our advocacy efforts -- not whether or not i am culturally Deaf. why does everything have to be about deafness or blindness with you?
