there's a difference between you and i, mrs bucket.

when i discuss bipolar, i'm doing it to educate others. when you discuss deafblindness, you do it to constantly remind people of the fact that you can't see well or hear.

as for me "raping" threads, i have the right to post as many times as i wish. deal with it.

...just as i will continue to write posts about bipolar. mrs bucket is more than welcome to do the same by placing me on her ignore list. if she chooses not to, there is nothing i can do. :dunno:

I think it would also be fair enough for other threads to have a breather and to discuss about this certain topic for what thread it has to offer.

You can get banned in order to preserve AD so it's up to you.... See Jolie's post above - she's saying it in a very very nice way.. in fact - it's a warning to all of you. The mods are not shy to take any necessary action to preserve AD.... and it has happened several times.

You have a right to educate within reason.

I am Culturally Deaf in a Culturally Deaf forum. There are so many Culturally Deaf people here. See the big Captial C? That's the Cultural Deaf.

I was born and raised in a 6th generation Deaf family. ASL is my language.

I do a lot of DeafBlind fundraising as well as DeafBlind advocating. I don't use the terminology DeafBlind to remind people that I cannot hear or see. I use it to empower others that they can still do things that they did before.

That is the huge difference between you and me.

you being culturally Deaf does not make you better than me.

for your information, i also do plenty of advocating on behalf of the deafblind. i also co-facilitate a support group for the deafblind once a week.

tell me, how is that any different from your advocacy efforts?

by the way, i'm totally deafblind and have done plenty of educating others here on ad about the capabilities of the deafblind. you're not the only one who does that.

That's the big difference from you and I.
