If you mean partial birth abortion... I´m sure that you know that I am against partial birth abortion for cut/chop into pieces totally... I guess we should move this discussion to my abortion thread because Jillo post the link over partial birth abortion issues at Dreama´s lock thread.

I understand what you are saying but what I am not liking is that some hunters kill baby animals. To me, that is cruel because they are just babies and they won't hurt other animals and humans.

ok but how are they gonna live without mama? do you prefer that they die slowly of starvation and freezing? it's the other animals who will hurt them. I don't think it's going to be a pretty sight to see other predator (like eagle) chasing baby wolf and ripping it apart :-o oh! the horror!

Well, a fetus is inside mother´s womb and baby animals are already outside of mother´s womb.

I feel that the hunters should check first to see if the animals they were going to kill doesn't have any cubs.

I understand what you are saying, emotionally, but it is still for the greater welfare of all....I don't want to seem nonchalant about this stuff but I was raised on a farm where hunting and fishing were activities we participated in.....after all the chores were done. So, yeah, daily experiences of life and death on the farm.....

lol! oh well.... with plenty of manpower and budget.... why not? I wonder if "Defenders of Wildlife" are willing to do that and mark them :hmm: but I can say it's not gonna be an easy task as you know mothers are very vicious and protective of their babies.

I know many people have good heart for pups and cubs whom they lost their mothers... They take care of them and give them bottle of milk... and live at wildlife park or whatever... What´s wrong with that?

I'm sorry but I disagree with this emotional presentation. Yeah, sure, they are oh so cute but that nullifies the culling program and in all likelihood those poor cubs probably wouldn't last a winter or two, making that, to me, more cruel.

I know but some are not old enough to survive without their mother..

Then the hunters should back off and leave the mothers alone to raise their cubs.

The point of culling is to reduce the population. Taking care of pups/cubs negate that effect. We do take care and give them bottle of milk for prey populations because of overpopulation of predators. Ironical, huh?

No, I'm not referring to partial birth abortion; I'm referring to all stages of abortion. How did you think they "removed" them?

Also, if a Mod wants to move my posts, then I'll let the mods do that. If you don't like being called Frau Moderator, don't give orders like one.

Even animals have a sense of protection. Hunters ought know who are the mamas and who aren't.....

My dogs are so dam* protective of me and the kids. They're quiet as clams until something they don't trust comes near the house. They raise quite a ruckus.
