Not when the RNC spends $150K that could be better spent on other things -- such as helping McCain win the election. :D

On this campaign, 150k wouldn't be enough to spit in my eye and drown it.

They are probably some soft, supple Italian leather.

Actually customed made.
There's nothing wrong with well-made shoes that fit right and last a long time, especially if one has hard-to-fit feet, foot mechanics problems, or specialized functions for the shoes, like running, dancing, cycling, etc.

At least we know you didn't need lifts put on them. :giggle:

:laugh2: Or maybe the shoe company is a subsidiary of the Coleman Canoe Co.

Why don't all politicians just go and try to find the softer side of Sears?

No, let them shop at thrift stores..now, that would get them back in touch with many Americans struggling to pay for bills!

So should Palin wear a sweat suit and Crocs to campaign rallies?

How is that "mocking" the middle class? I'm middle class and I don't feel "mocked." I expect my country's leaders to look professional and well groomed. There's nothing wrong with that.

I know many professional and executive men and women, and some of them probably spend more than that every year on their outfits.

We already expect candidates to reveal their medical and IRS records. Should we now demand that they all reveal their receipts for clothing?

This is getting ridiculous.

But $150K? Kinda a lot isnt it? One can look professional with clothes, like from ummm...Sears?

Despite all the cash spent on her duds, she STILL looks like a mousy librarian.

"I'd like like to check out War and Peace, please."

My thoughts exactly...maybe that's intentional since there was a big fuss made about her being a former beauty queen?
