Apple said they denied the involvement with PRISM so it means Apple wasn't honest?
Yesterday, news broke that the National Security Agency has been using a program called PRISM to collect metadata on calls made on Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint in the U.S. The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) has already come out to comment on the report, but now we have word from President Obama himself, who says that "Nobody is listening to your telephone calls".
Our Constitution limits the way the FBI and other government agencies can legally check on Americans or others within our borders.
Clapper did too. There is a whole lot of perjury here. Hopefully a lot of people go to prison.
and Sprint, too... President Obama on PRISM: "Nobody is listening to your telephone calls"
blah, go ahead spying on my sprint carrier but, I have no voice data plan. They are wasting time with wiretapping or illegal eavedropping at Sprint Relay Data only. I'm not hiding nothing. pssh!
iMessage is very secured and the government is unable to wiretap the iMessage.

They are trying wiretap my Sexting? pssh!
you should care. for example - let's assume you're applying for a government job. they performed a detailed background check on you and found that you have participated in questionable topic from online forum. and also found out that you have surfed the net to read more about pressure cooker bomb in detail.
they don't care how or what you will explain about it. they rejected you. that's the problem. you may also be subjected to additional scrutiny such as when you travel, file a tax, etc. that is illegal and you should care about it.

Like what?At some point you will. The question is how many rights will you loose before then and will it be to late. The line in the sand is the constitution, once thats past there is nothing else.
that's ok. I understand that you were born and raised in a "commie" state so I'm not surprised by your reaction. You haven't lived here long enough to understand and appreciate what America is about.
