Gosh, you really have went off the course big time.

not really. I just showed you how off course this article was. and also how off course ya'all feel on this stance.

It's nothing but a distraction from real issue - abusive parents. Guns? oh how convenient to blame one for cause of children's deaths...

You are making a mountain out of a molehill. To fine a doctor for asking a question is excessive.

I am much much more concerned with abusive parents than stupid parents with guns. Don't you agree that majority of incidents are because of abusive parents?

Abusive parents rarely cause death. Stupid parents with guns often do.

and I agreed with it, in case you didn't notice from the very beginning of thread.

Death? It's hardly a concern to me.

I'm much more concerned with children who have to endure abuse for a long time because in the end - they will become abusive to their own children too. or they end up abusing themselves. Comparing to abuse they had to endure with all their life - death is a bliss to them... sparing them of lifelong of pain and suffering.

Absolutely. And if his concern was really for harm done to children, he would take off his Second Amendment blinders and admit he is blowing this gun rights thing way out of proportion when compared to the number of children killed and injured every year as the result of a family member's gun being made accessible.

There you go. The death of children is of no concern to you as long as you don't think your precious right to have a gun in their presence is being infringed upon. Nice. You should have stopped posting a long time ago. I am thoroughly disgusted at this point. To think that anyone is willing to risk the death of even one child.....

You might want to not put words in my mouth. I am a strong supporter of gun safety program. And I am saying you are making mountains out of molehills.

Abusive Parents - that should be a big issue... not Armed Parents.

yea yea yea oh spare me of "ooo i'm so disgusted!!!!" cry. don't be so overly dramatic like a person faking an injury to sue a store :)

I'm not putting words in your mouth. You specifically said, "Death? It's hardly a concern to me."

Tell that to the number of children killed or seriously injured every year as a result of firearms.

I'm not being overly dramatic at all. That is exactly how I feel regarding your remark regarding the death of children killed by firearms. Disgusted that you would so easily wipe those deaths off. And then try to come back by attempting a concern over abused children. The only reason you will say you are concerned about abused children is because you don't see anyway they can restrict your precious gun ownership. Selfish and self centered.

yes it's hardly a concern to me although it is very tragic but according to statistic.... it's certainly not enough for me to support more gun regulations that will have an impact for rest of law-abiding citizens who do not have children.

I believe we should have more laws and programs for parents because child abuse/negligence is rampant.... VERY rampant. It's insane.

*clap clap clap* but still 1 point short from scoring an award for spin-doctoring.

Did you just implied gun-related accidents is more humane?

He really needs to stop trying to make his point. Not to mention implying that all abuse survivors perfer death to life.

committing suicide is not an accident.

Often times it is. And suicide has nothing to do with the kids that are killed every year by guns. You are trying too hard to come back from that horrible statement about death being of no concern.

aw what's the matter, missus?

The boat's sinking and there's not enough life vests for you all Brady Campaign people?

You want to know what the matter is? You are making a complete fool of yourself by implying that abused children would rather be shot, or that all abuse survivors prefer death. The only life boat that's sinking is the one you are on. Shame you can't see it.

good. now keep feeling horrible because you were too busy misallocating your time and resource on small problem while ignoring a bigger problem.

let it burn in your heart and remember it. 1 abused child is one too many victims.

and it's a shame that you failed to see the point.

Why is it that many abused children resort to suicide, mmmmm?
