'Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone'

would it devastate you financially if your insurance coverage has high deductible?

Depending on how it was set up it might? I understand that our private insurance system is broken but so is our government. The insurance companies cannot operate without a profit like any business.

Jiro,

I'm glad we can be civil with each other and still disagree. Thanks

But if the rich own their own companies and the company buys the insurance then they themselves are in essence paying for their own insurance.

You beat me to it. :giggle:

You do realize, don't you, that even if the Supreme Court rules against the mandate, many of the features of health care reform under Obama will remain? The Supreme Court is not being asked to throw the reform out lock, stock, and barrel, but merely to look at the constitutionality of requiring all citizens to have health care insurance. A decision probably will not be handed down before June. And first, constitutionality must be decided.

The general feeling is that without the mandate the health care law will crumble. :dunno: We will see.

So ... everyone is on the same page as Herman Cain?

"We don't have a health care crisis in America, we have a health care COST crisis in America" - Herman Cain

I would prefer that instead of a mandate to cut corners healthwise. A healthy nation is a prosperous one.

Meh, who's to say the government wont cut the same corners....or even more. HHS is already saying some elements of the bill are not sustainable

Cain got it half-right!

Written by copywriter. Paid by Lou Pritchett.

why? probably because Obama refused to be Pritchett's buddy in his pocket. :dunno2:

More than likely because Pritchett had his A game on and was absolutely right about everything? :dunno:

actually no. if you look at most of the riches - they do not own their companies. the boards own it. Very few billionaires actually own their companies. Very very very few.

The riches are not really paying for their own insurance per se. It's from your money (aka profits)... otherwise how else are they rich?

how? and why would you support Pritchett? He's a crook and he took your money without you knowing it! :laugh2:

you people make me laugh. I find it comical that you poor people support the riches. why would they care about you poor folks? :laugh2:

Cain said that in 2008.

3 years ago is quite a long time ago in political sense. now let's see if his answer is more updated this time. If he got it right 100%, then I'd even consider him to vote.

Until then.... he doesn't get my vote cuz he's a buffoon

Employee payroll is also paid through corporate profits. Since consumers buy goods, they are paying for employees paychecks.

Nothing is free - everyone pays.

He was 100% right the first time.

And he is getting my vote. He doesn't even have to visit all 57 states ...

in case you didn't know - the riches do not pay for their own insurances. they are covered by their own corporations.

dude... they are rich because they are clever with their money. they would not be rich if they have to pay for everything themselves.

They are still paying for their health insurance. It's part of their compensation. That goes for all workers who receive health insurance from their employer.

Depending on how it was set up it might?
you should know about your coverage because you are the one who is paying for it. you should know what you are being covered with and how high is your deductible and what's the limit of your coverage. Chance is - you will be screwed and left behind if your medical expense is very expensive.

I understand that our private insurance system is broken but so is our government.
our private insurance system is broken? not at all!!!! that's why they're filthy rich! They have a department dedicated to finding tiny fine print to screw you out of the coverage so that they won't have to pay for your expensive medical expense.

The insurance companies cannot operate without a profit like any business.
you are correct. it's a simple Business 101. However...... here's a problem.... is it right for them to operate and collect a filthy amount of money at the expense of our health?

right. all employees and employers do. it comes out of their paychecks but it is bit misleading.

some people assume that the riches can simply go to aetna.com and buy their own coverage. The riches are covered by group coverage, not individually.

Correct. Nothing is free. everyone pays. the only difference is... we pay more than the riches.
