Cochlear recalls Nucleus CI500

---- Does this help? -----

wow.... I'm trying very very very hard to understand from your perspective. .... and I failed.

Let me help you then....

You asked me - "conversations between different rooms?"
I asked you - "what's that???"
You answered it for me when I don't know what your question means - "Another "No""

So.... why are you answering a question for me? I find it quite rude and demeaning.

And even more, she could communicate with even more people with ASL. Simple truth. (Or her native sign language, if not ASL.)

My sincere apologies... But hardly "rude and demeaning".. I'm answering your questions in the same way as you do, and you couldn't be "rude and demeaning"...

But OK.. here it goes...
If you don't know what it means to have "conversation between different rooms" then you can't do it, because if you could you would know that it would mean that e.g. one person is shouting from the toilet "bring me some toilet paper" and you would hear it, say "OK" and (hopefully) bring some toilet paper...

So, why did you say "why don't I answer this question for you? Even my audiologist nor doctor wouldn't assume to answer this question. "?? That indicated that you did know what it was... but didn't want to answer... Confusing..

must you make everything difficult? You shouldn't assume.

"Conversation between different rooms" could mean anything else so I'd like a clarification first before I answer it. This is not hard. Now finally getting your clarification after this whole unnecessary drama - the answer is yes.

Why would I not want to answer your question? I've got nothing to hide and there's nothing confusing about my comment. It's illegal and unethical for any doctors to ASSUME answer to medical question. It's a serious liability. In your case - it's demeaning and rude to answer question for others. I can answer it myself... thank you very much.

Yes.... And even more with Spanish... Simple Truth..

I'm sorry, but there's no reason why we would force her to spend time on a language that she can hardly practice in her "world"....
She would benefit more from Turkish, since there are Turkish kids at school. Or Chinese so she can speak to her classmate in his language. Or some African language so she can speak with the Somali kids, or Kenian kid....

so why are you here for? do you have anything to learn more from us for your daughter or.... are you here to teach us something?

I see a lot of things didn't "cross your mind". I'm sorry.

(Not for you.)

Rick48's daughter is a perfect example of this. You understand what changed?

Deja Vu

OK.. To learn... I learn a lot from you and others... And I'm not here to teach.. but you can still learn...

Rick48's daughter is a perfect example of this. You understand what changed?
No.. She grew up with sign & speech, then used speech only, then studied, learned sign again, now graduated...

please explain...

Very true... And when she's old enough she might come here and inform you.. She needs to work on her english first.. On the other hand... Google translate can help..

Until then, you will have to do with my interpretation of what happened... Very true..

Interesting how the word "fear" can be taken out of context..
For some the fear of hearing nothing, being deaf,
For others the fear of missing sound, missing communication
..

It is the same thing, with different wording.

It is still fear of missing out. Not knowing how to act when it does happen.

Yeah, When she gets older......

No.. She grew up with sign & speech, then used speech only, then studied, learned sign again, now graduated...

No, she didn't. Confer with Rick. I'm not making this up.

Sure.. like?

I can have a conversation with a friend who is standing on the other side of a glass window... can you? and understand all of it? I can have a conversation while I am in the kitchen and my SO is in the bedroom (yes I can see her... but still) so those are different rooms... so it could mean that...

Yeh, I love that.
I use it with my wife somtimes... Across shops, parking areas. During a meeting.. It's great... very nice...
Asking her if she wants a cup of coffee using sign... Love it..

I'm here to learn too but what's there for me to learn from hearing parents? Such as?

You stated you use sign.. Is it sign language or home signs? Are you using sign language with your daughter?
