C'mon let's be real, dudes. How is slavery not related? This can't be denied.

The slaves got paid less or no wages, the rich got richer. Basic principles addressed in the manifesto.


Don't get me wrong, I am in no way promoting Marxist ideologies. I am saying the truth is more complex than we can process, and there are definitely both sides of the fence to observe before adhering to either side. I am just chilling on the neutral fencepost, that's all.

I can see that there is more than one person here who has never read any of the treatises on Marxism, and therefore, confuses it with other political systems.:roll: At least one of them has shown willingness to learn.:cool2:

Conflict theory actually is not simplistic at all. Perhaps you should take the time to gather a bit of understanding of the theory before pronouncing it as "simple".

So, explain please, exactly how it is that you view conflict theory as simplistic. Of course, that will also require you to explain the theory in detail.

I understand the theory very well.......I find it simplistic....If you don't that's cool.

Point is - it takes just 1 out of 100 to get it right. Hence - Kelling's theory works. Rest of them... who cares? They don't have real life result to prove. Kelling does. 4 cities - LA, NYC, Philly, and Boston. Detroit's slowly adopting it but they're still doing it wrong.

So, how would you apply Conflict Theory to the reduction of crime? If it is such a simple theory, it should be quite simple to explain how it would be applied to reduce criminal behavior.
