I must have missed that. Is it recent? Earlier, I only saw that a woman being used as a shield was among the fatalities. But I have been going back and forth between several different sources during the day. I could have missed an update.
 
According to this tweet: woman killed was another person caught in crossfire, unclear if she was used as human shield. bin Laden's wife wounded in calf, not killed.

I'm not entirely sure. I did see it reported earlier that his wife (one of them?) was killed when used as a shield. And, I saw that bin Laden used "her" as a shield. I assumed they were the one and same woman.
 
Congratulations to Obama for making it happen!

He made the best decision and his "gut" was right after all!

I can't be entirely sure now whether she was the one used as bin Laden's shield (see previous post), but CNN has said that his wife was killed.

I am so confused that right now, I don't care who killed him, just that he is gone and can't hurt anyone else. This constant merry-go-round of "he did this, he did that, he used this info, he didn't get that permission". It just very confusing for someone who is not politically minded to wrap around their brains. Sorry. I have never understood politics and don't even try and pretend I do. I chose my particular party affiliation based on what my parents were, not for any other reason. Some days, I feel I should be on the opposite side, but others I'm glad where I am. I know this really has nothing to do with the thread, so I will shut up for now.

I am curious what they were watching - rumor is that they were watching the raid live... and clinton looked horrified.

And I am even more surprised how unassuming Obama is in that picture. He's not dominating the room.. pretty much sits in the corner watching TV.

But of course he ordered the killing. So I am sure he's thinking, "I sure hell hope I did the right thing. Kill him!"
