Well, I don't know about the 40 minutes of shooting but I read that they also took stuff with them that are considered valuable for intelligence. But also one of the helicopters failed - I am sure they had to work on exploding it to destroy evidence. Thankfully none of the SEALs were killed.
 
Has anyone heard anything about the video that was supposedly released this afternoon? All I have heard is that the CIA is checking out this video. It was one, supposedly made by bin Laden, "to be released by al Qaida in the event of his death".
 
I learned from news.com.au updates - an american teacher has vowed after 9/11 not to shave his beard until OBL is caught has kept his word - see his reaction below

I've heard that it exists, but nothing about its content.

I woudlnt be surprised if Bin Laden left instructions in the event of his death for Al Queda to carry out. Oh boy...

I believe al queda had already lost a significant portion of their potency long time ago.

Agreed. This just tops it off. Kind of like cults that dissolve and are never heard of again when their lunatic leader isn't there to keep them going in their collective madness anymore.
