for old times' sake.
I think Carmen Sandeigo is better.
for old times' sake.
for old times' sake.
I dunno about you but how can intel from detainees four years ago still be valid? It would be already outdated.
since Osama bin Laden and his family were residing in heavily-fortified mansion in affluent neighborhood of Pakistan...
I'm wondering what will happen next. Are we to accuse Pakistan for aiding and abetting a terrorist? Will the world now know Pakistan as a country that harbors terrorists?
I don't know about you, but a certain individual was promising to close Gitmo if he became president. He is now president and Gitmo is still open.

Yes and I see nothing but obfuscation and verbose rambling. Care to give me a simple one-word answer this time?
Yes or No will do - so you're giving no credit to Obama?
I already answered your question.
I can do that too Jiro ... so, your not going to give any credit to the veterans that killed Osama Bin Laden? Is ALL the credit going to Obama?
How this "find, fix, and finish" operation was handled:
How the U.S. found and finished Bin Laden - The Washington Post
The CIA figured out the name of the courier who was closely linked to bin Laden in 2007 (during the Bush administration, for those keeping score). This was after finding out the initial information about the existence of the courier some years earlier. The whole operation took years to develop. Credit is due to the CIA and to the special forces who have been working on this all along, as well as to President Bush and President Obama.
From "The Fact Checker" piece in the Wash. Post:
How much credit does Obama get for bin Laden’s reported death? - The Fact Checker - The Washington Post
"In this case, Obama clearly built on efforts initiated during the Bush administration...
"The kind of seamless teamwork apparently demonstrated by U.S. operatives and intelligence officials in crafting and conducting this operation does not happen overnight.
"But it is also true that ultimately Obama had to make the final decision on whether to proceed. As was later documented in Steve Coll’s “Ghost Wars,” then President Bill Clinton failed to make a firm tactical decision about how to best capture or kill bin Laden. And if the mission had been a public failure, in the middle of a suburban Pakistani neighborhood, Obama would have gotten the blame—as Jimmy Carter would attest about the failure to rescue hostages held in Iran.
http://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Wars-Afghanistan-Invasion-September/dp/1594200076"Obama might have given a bit more of a public shout-out to his predecessor. But the buck stops with the current occupant of the White House. ...We’re with Pete King on this one: This happened on Obama’s watch, and he will reap the credit. "
Nicely gracious conclusion.
Jillio - I'm wondering why are we wasting our time with this person? I mean after all.. he claimed to see aliens and ghost....
I'm such a fool.
can you show me where he ordered the kill?
It built on a LOT of work that had gone on prior to that.
I give Obama full credit for pulling the trigger. He deserves considerably more credit than Clinton, who basically flinched when he could have proceeded.
But it didn't magically all start to happen on the day of his inauguration. He built on intelligence that had been developed prior to his administration.
This is not to take away from him getting the credit for this final culmination, at all. He deserves it.
Clinton's "flinch" was pre 9/11. I feel certain he would havenpulled the trigger in this case. obama should get credit for continuing the hunt. Pulling the trigger? Pretty easy choice IMO
I give him much more credit for extending the Bush tax cuts. I think that decision was more difficult
