Brakessssssssssssss

Hmmm, I see. Since Diesel isn't cheap, no reason to change it. I would like it to be at most efficient as possible.

No idea about Ford and I never drove it with ETC before. Just F-150 and E-250 with wire throttle.

Right. I forget added it's happen to me before when I was just drove at 30mph in 30mph speed limited during winter time then I saw light turned in the redlight then I applied brake to slow down and it got out of control and crash. I learned my lesson that I changed new tires during winter time due bad tires. The four new tires was only two days old then crash. :ugh:

I almost hit deer like two times near QC. I can image about night with deer. It's happen to few of my friends.

Yeah, I don't have good night vision so my gf drives at night mostly. She's good at night vision than I do. Oh well...

So technically its about same as yours. I get more MPG than you but I pay little more for Diesel.

Yeah, depends on the car. For example, the 2013 VW Jetta TDI is cheaper on gas than my Honda Civic. I have calculated the costs. :)

diesel too $$$$

Not really.

Regular gasoline = $3.59
Diesel = $3.99

Two VW Jetta are exactly same year, body, and transmission but just different gasoline and diesel.

2013 VW gasoline got around 33 MPG.
2013 VW TDI diesel got around 42 MPG.

Fill up 10 gal of tank.

So $35.90 for gasoline and it made 330 miles and $39.90 for diesel made 420 miles.

Gasoline is $0.1087 per miles and Diesel is $0.095 per miles.

The diesel still cheap than gasoline.

Also diesel maintenance cost is a lot cheap than gasoline maintenance for over 200,000 mileage.

Right, Jiro have you notice why many commercial fleet like UPS, FedEx, 18 wheelers, school bus, fire trucks, ambulance, etc mostly runs on Diesel? It is because its cheaper to run and maintain for them. Diesel engine tolerates beating and wearing than Gas engine tolerates.

I'm not gonna waste my time hunting for gas station that provides diesel.

right. because that's for commercial purpose.

Thats myth! You will be surprise how common Diesels are around. I never had problem finding nearest station. But because of today technology, it makes alot easier, called Gas buddy, it will show where nearest Diesel station are.

Im sure Highlander agrees on this one.

They did the math work, and discovered that Diesel are far more efficient in overall that is why they choose them. If gas are cheaper, they will have long ago choose gas to begin with. (Actually they did begin with gas and it didn't last long)

I wasn't born yesterday.... yea I know Gas Buddy app and I've used it a lot for my road trips.

again - not gonna bother. I'd like to go to gas station (doesn't provide diesel) right near my home in a hurry without having to drive down 10 min more for diesel. there's another one near me and the cost is ridiculous. the gas station itself is ridiculous.

no need to try to convince me. I'm aware of diesel stuff and sure it's all cool and gravy but not for me. beside - I don't drive everyday and I don't drive much for 9 months. I drive 3 months a year and ride 9 months a year.

tell me something I don't know.

Cool, no problem as long as you always forgot to check gas gauge, or weren't thinking of ahead. For me, my eye always on gas gauge and I have never walk for gas for my own vehicle. I did twice with other idiot that wasn't paying attention. And it is about refueling management. It is not that hard for me, in other word I always plan ahead so I don't want to deal with surprises. I hate walk just to get jug of fuel.

So again, technically we both are about the same, gas burns faster than Diesel, and I got extra miles so wasting time? Not really ;) What that means is that Gas or Diesel cost... really no difference (Too bad it was cheaper than gas back then).

that's why I have a gas truck. it's stress-free (except the thought of my truck drinking gas like a drunk) and worry-free (except the thought of frequent refueling and my gas bill racking up during winter). I can just simply go to any gas station and refuel. simple as that.

diesel - you have to hunt for it and drive further. that's why NitroHonda opted for gas truck for his business.

How many hairs are on your body? Please don't ask me to guess how many cause I don't have any clue. ;)

well on the average, a head has about 100,000-200,000 follicles but as for body hair - hard to say since lot of people are hairy and lot of people are not hairy.
