Diesels have higher btu content which helps produce high torque numbers at low engine rpm. That's why commercial vehicles use diesel for efficient torque. Does Jiro know that one? Lol I've noticed turbo diesel cars are more fun to drive than gasoline versions.

We call it semi-trucks since some of them are 10 wheels, some of them are 20 wheels, some of them are 14 wheels. some of them are 24 wheels. So 18 wheelers are old now.

what I do know that it's more efficient and durable for heavy haulers to use diesel engine than gas engine.

Yes, I learned from a book that diesel for motorcycle is very poor efficient than gasoline. No wonder diesel for motorcycle are very rare. The diesel motors are great for semi-truck, boat, tractor, etc.
 
Gas engines make more horsepower, diesels produce more torque. Most people aren't looking for pulling power with a motorcycle, they want hp and acceleration. Plus a gas engine will rev faster and higher where most of it's hp is made giving it better 0 to 60 speed. Diesels make all the torque and power low in the rev range and that is good for pulling.

Why is it when you look in a mirror your left is on the right and your right is on the left..... but the top isn't at the bottom or is the bottom at the top?

because you are looking at a wrong mirror. you should be looking at a concave mirror :lol:

if you can't figure it out, then I can't help you except to suggest a visit to neurologist. it's nothing tricky or scientific about it. it's a simple reflection... that's why the top doesn't appear at the bottom. if you want it to be that way - then get a concave mirror.

It hasn't. When you look at a mirror your right hand is still on the right side of the image.
 
Its funny, how simple things can get so complicated...lol
yet so simple. I just love messing with the minds, keeps them functional and exercised regularly....haha
 
I think the mirror thing only gets people because we are so symmetrical. If our right hands where claws instead it would be more obvious that we're looking at our image bounced back and not as if we've turned.
 
But if you think of it, if you were the other image ( the reflection ) you'd be opposite, shake with your right hand...it shakes with the left....
so, your right is on the left but the left is on the right.

I think the super singles are dangerous, a tire blows there is nothing to back it up like a dual wheel.

Well the image is just light bouncing back so the light from your right hand bounces back at your right hand. If you put a glove on you right hand the hand on the same side of the global axis would be wearing the glove. It looks like a person facing you with a glove on there left hand but it is not. It is a reflected image of a person with a glove on their right hand.[FONT=Geneva,Arial,sans-serif][/FONT]
