and I'm extremely glad that America did not follow that path except cities (they have cameras everywhere but it's for traffic purpose.. but not as extensive as UK). I cannot live in UK like that. It's ultimately a Police Nation - cameras everywhere, no guns, restrictive laws.
NO THANK YOU. UK'S POV toward American way of life IS NOT WELCOME!
United Kingdom is definitely headed in the wrong direction as far I am concerned. They have been changing quite a lot of laws in a radical sense and it's not for the better.
Cameras are pretty much everywhere in Canada and USA and not many are aware of where they are. It's because everybody is used to it so they don't even notice most of them. Even the ATM machines have cameras built in. In fact, at some casinos, they have cameras on the top of the slots to see who is playing.
Some states already has restrictive laws on guns despite the 2nd amendment.
That's the thing, even with the amendments in place, the states still find a way to get around them. Or sometimes they just blatantly violate the amendment and enforce the law anyway.
That's why I said people cannot be guaranteed the rights as provided by the constitution if the people they elect to the office are trying to change it or just not upholding it. People have to actually uphold the constitution and secure everybody's rights. People died fighting for the very rights that are being taken for granted by many people today.
It's sad. Although you are a true American and you believe in the constitution. That's good to see.
