Have you seen Jerry's show, Baggage? Awful show. Worst kind of dating show one can think of.
Didn't even know it existed, to be honest.

Lindsay Lohan to pose for Playboy
Lindsay Lohan to pose for Playboy - Celebrity Circuit - CBS News
oh my gosh! I dont think she will pose nude at playboy if playboy founder will think!
They also have the means to get the help they need. She has been given opportunity on top of opportunity to get herself together. She has taken advantage of none of them. Time to pay the piper. Maybe that will get her in the mood for recovery.
on the right is the dish full of chocolate and candies,
on the left just a meat with broccoli...

Your point? That Lindsay keeps choosing the candy despite the fact that her teeth are rotting out?
She has been given every opportunity to get help. She has chosen not to. She broke the law again. She needs to pay the consequences. It is the most loving thing anyone could do for her.
Dr Drew doesn't have to be a clinician psychologist, even if he is,
he is mainly an
addiction specialist
and such is his show oriented- about addiction, not psychology.
For psych, sessions, he has his hired staff.
you can read about his credentials here:
Psych Scholar: USC Honorary Degree: Dr. David Drew Pinsky
or simpler, here:

Dr Phil, a licensed clinical psychologist:
Education: Doctorate, North Texas State University

My point is, a brain fried on drugs or alcohol doesn't do rational choices.
that's because a brain fried on .......

Dr. Phil is not a licensed psychologist.
He was a licensed psychologist, but he retired his license back in 2006.

He is the Vince McMahon of psychology. That is correct. And the APA has issued a statement that he is not practicing psychology. He is entertaining.
So Dr. Phil has a Ph.D and not a bit of actual certification to treat anyone? Shame.
He should make this a disclaimer in his show. There are people who actually think he can treat people.
my point is that it's extraordinary difficult to get an exclusive interview with superstars especially after recovery from their destructive past. You're definitely not going to get one on your show if you're a nobody or some cheapshot host like Jerry Springfield. You'll be most likely somebody credible and reputable. With that kind of weight, are you going to risk everything for some bogus interview for their public stunt?
heck no.... you are going to get what you want from him/her - "Why?" Interviewer controls the questioning and dialogue.... not the other way around. They're not going to let some screwed-up person to ruin their reputation and control their interviews for their mischievous gain. That's why very few interviewers survived in this brutal cutthroat business for so long.... like Barbara Walter and James Lipton. It pretty much takes only one botched-up interview to end your interviewing career.
That's why Chris Wallace never got another exclusive interview deal after botched Bill Clinton interview. Dang.... he got spanked good by Clinton's wagging finger. That was a good one.
oh man... ya gotta see Wallace's face when Clinton wagged his finger and said - "And you've got that little smirk on your face and you think you're so clever. But I had responsibility for trying to protect this country..."
