Yeah, I know. It's a hot topic in several communities in several states. I only heard about it today, from a district in New York. However, there are three states that have already abandoned it, Indiana and Oklahoma being two of them.
 
Common core sucks... Badly. Im not saying the way to teach students was better before but still...
 
What a way to start my morning..... a Tornado Watch is in effect for Chicago this morning. Just !@#$ great.

Update: they canceled it just a few minutes ago. Still, though-- we're not out of the woods yet. Straight line winds still present a danger.

My new W/W carpet smells like hell! The guys said they where using a steamer to seal the rug . CRAP if I had know if I would never used the company , the last time I had ' W/W rug put in it didn't smell at all.

I'm so guilty... I did a WDWCP stint once, it's not at all serious, an easy elective credit but crazy!
