A Thread About Absolutely Nothing! Part III

I just checked the website. The one in CA does indeed offer it. It's located in Anaheim, though.
Disneyland is in Anaheim, so that makes sense.

I want to go to the one in florida. I have been to the on in anaheim a few times. And plan to go again soon

The people I know that took their kids in the one in Florida said they would never go again. They where wiped out from standing in long lines.

Yeah.... Florida isn't for me, anyways. Plus, it's doubtful I'll ever go, anyways, because I've never ventured that far west. Furthest west I did go was St. Charles, MO. That's as far west as I've ever gone. However, I've gone pretty far east, but it's been more than 20 years since I did that.

Any amusement park has long lines, especially if you go in season. Florida and California WD parks are no different in that regard. I've been to both.

Heard that the fast pass have strict schedules to give you to show up at the fast line which is new recently.

It's nice but super expensive...tickets are now $96 plus you have to pay a lot to park.

Yes, and one's budget can quickly skyrocket. I'm talking in excess of $100 a day. Orlando isn't cheap whatsoever. I've never been to Orlando nor to Florida, so I can't say for certain if the high spending is actually true-- I'm using the word of two people who have experienced it.

They do have strict time but it saves you a lot of waiting. And six flags not my place x_x

Don't worry-- I haven't been there in 10 years, so I'm good. Plus, getting there by Metra isn't exactly easy to do.

Are you talking about venturing to Florida? Florida is east of Illinois... not west. Now if you meant California your entire post makes sense.

As far as spending etc in Orlando etc.. it can happen but you can also be very frugal and just not spend a lot. I used to go to WDW when sister lived in FL best time to go is actually anywhere between October and March (December around Christmas time...eh... eek). The first time I went to WDW I got one of those five day tickets deal. That was in 1988 or 1989 I can't remember which. I used only 1 or 2 days lol. Was able to use another day some years later. There is still one day left on it.. and I wonder if they'd still accept it lol... I'm dying to try.

Yes, I was talking about venturing out west. That's one area I've not yet seen. I've seen a lot of stuff past Ohio, so yes, I'd like to do it someday. As for Florida, well, best I not go there, cause I full well know what'll happen. However, I doubt that I'll ever head out west.

ah well your entire paragraph (both of them actually...hm) was confusing- you talked about two different ideas in the same paragraph and used the word "plus" after talking about Florida.. that's why I asked.

Still hurts my brain lol.

Florida is a big state- I'm sure it's safe enough to go there. Can't live your life by fear.

Never say never neither. When I started college, I'd only been to Italy and New Jersey (summers). I'd have laughed if anyone told me I'd travel to many states and 2 more countries in my life. For me going somewhere to meet a new person is a HUGE step (I am not a people person in general)- so I make it an effort to travel (and find ways to pay for it).
