Who is your best friend?

I wonder Do you have a best friend that you had in school or same best friend all of your life? Why is that person so special to you? What was the most fun thing that you have already done together?
 
Jesus is the only person I could trust! He is always my best friend. He's always there for me in 24/7 and 365 days every year. *Winks*
 
I had quite a few girls who have called me their "best friend" back in the old days.
Right now, they are either pregnant, dropped out of highschool, or/and are on the drugs.
So, no I don't keep in touch with them. I dont like the words, "best friend" because it favors one person out of people. I have several "favorites" in my circle of friends, but I only dare to go far as calling them my "close friends", not "best friends".

Probably the longest friend I have is a guy friend that I knew since age 2 in preschool. We talked to each other occasionally whenever we bump into eachother online. We dont call ourselves best friends but we acknowledge that we are more closer than most of friends in our circle because we have a LONG history than every other in the cricle. We know eachother very well and we respect eachother and support also. So according to your or anybody's definition, he COULD be my "Best Friend". I just prefer to see him as my old long-time buddy ;)
 
My best friend is Joan... We used to go to Elem school, then she went to deaf school, later I joined the deaf School til I quitted. When I went to public HS, I lost contact with her til few weeks ago I found her on Ringo.com asking if it is her, and I told her all memories, and then she replied back, she said oh YES YES YES!!! it was HER!!! so we met for first time last weekend, went sleep over at her place, got to catch up since all years we haevn't talked to. Here is pic of my best friend.. Since I moved around or go to schools, I had what I called "Temporary best friend" but Joan is my real best friend because we grew up, was busmates when we lived on Eastside St. Paul. When I had temp best friends, they end up moving or was too busy to hang out with me... but at least I got Joan...

My best friend is Rosie Palms. She has 5 little sisters that I'm also friends with. We've been friends for life.
 
My "best" friend (as gnarlydorkette said it best, its not good to alienate others by chosing one person to be your best friend) would be this one girl I went to school with since grade 2, I think. We grew up together and experienced a lot of things together, and we have known each other for 23 years. She still lives in New Jersey, but I keep in touch with her sometimes. She has two kids which I am godfather for and they are great kids. She's like a deaf sister to me.

My best friend is Josh aka SkiBum.......he is so cool, we know each other since we were 2 years old. Both of us oral deaf :) so lots in common.... let me see, we recently went to south cali for new year but it was more fun in LAS VEGAS :) there is so many things we did. In fact I am staying over at his house tonight.....we always talk till like 3 am or watch movies, hella fun!!! Funny that we are opposite personality but we get a long great!
 
I have had a lot of best friends during my school years. But they all went along with their lives after Graduation. Some of them move far away or got married have children. My only best friend I have since I been growing up is My twin Sister ^Angel^... and I do have some good friends still in my life.

my best friend is Seth.. we have been best friend since we're little boys.. now we live 5 hours apart :-/ college sucks heh?
 
i have 2 best friends, wolfy for 10 yrs in alabama n Tazz for 6 yrs from tx! they are my best friends n they always be there for me when i have plms or depression or whatever.. they always help me!
 
I, like others, do not like to single out people and say which is "best," because all my friends are my friends for a reason. But Lindsey (TinyStrawberry) has been almost the only one who has been there for me. We've been friends since Fall 97 (beginning of 8th grade) and we've been thru hell and back. I couldn't think of a better person to go through that with. :) :ily:

I have childhood friends, whom I used to refer to as a "best friend," but people grow up and apart; as a result, they are just a memory.
