Reba, after seeing Teresh simply demolish your steadfast beliefs, I just wonder how I could do any better.
"The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies." Isaiah 42:13
Jesus did not go forth as a "mighty man", but a peaceful man. Muhammad did.
Jesus did not stand up like a "man of war", but preached hope and love. Muhammad did.
Jesus did not "cry, yea, roar against his enemies", but suffered under God's light. Muhammad did.
If you knew Islamic history with an objective view, you wouldn't necessarily be arguing with this fact. Muhammad was vastly different from Jesus as Muhammad waged war while Jesus did not.
"He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you." (John 16:14)
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14:26)
"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me." (John 15:26)
It is hard to believe that a "Holy Spirit" (if it exists) would do such a physical act. Besides, "the Comforter" is often referred to as a being, a person.
Muhammad glorified Jesus, commanding all Muslims to acknowledge and respect Jesus.
Muhammad reminded Muslims of Jesus and even repeated what Jesus had said centuries ago.
Muhammad told Muslims of what Jesus did.
All these is a fact. Perhaps Muhammad is the Comforter.
"The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken." (Deuteronomy 18:15)
Thank you for admitting Jesus was a prophet.
But I'm sorry, it isn't Jesus. Think about it. Moses said God will raise another prophet (which literally all Christians deny Jesus is) that is like Moses. If you studied Biblical history and Islamic history, you'd realize that Moses and Muhammad are similar in many ways.
If you did not study the Qur'an/Islamic history, then you would never know of any of these! Again, the Bible is all you know! Please research plentiful of Islamic history and the religion before you even post. Open your mind and be willing to learn, Reba.
