Learned that Paupa New Guinea, New Zealand and few other countries are on alert for tsunami. Very small chance it'll hit Australia.

Let's hope the tsunami will spare other countries.

Wirelessly posted

Awww.. sorry, they called you that, meanie friends stink! That name ought to stay with Lady Gaga lol

LOL, it was a joke and taken in good humor! I think the poop reference was not known either. Just a funny way to leave the evening!

Reading about earthquake in Japan. Wow, now that is something that looks unreal.

Just learned that one of my friend's twin son died tonight. I never know what to say when my friends lose their children.

:( That's just awful. :(

One of my best friends lost both of her children to a genetic chromosomal condition. One was only 1 1/2 days old, the other a little older. It's so hard to know what to say. :(

Didn't know he was hoh, but why in the world was his ears boxed by a train worker?

Edison developed hearing problems at an early age. The cause of his deafness has been attributed to a bout of scarlet fever during childhood and recurring untreated middle-ear infections. Around the middle of his career Edison attributed the hearing impairment to being struck on the ears by a train conductor when his chemical laboratory in a boxcar caught fire and he was thrown off the train in Smiths Creek, Michigan, along with his apparatus and chemical

That's just part of his Wiki biography, but I think it is a fairly well known story.

Also he only went to school for three months total, and the school master referred to him as "addled" so his mother home schooled him.

I am so sorry to hear of of your friends son it must be devastating. My thoughts are with you, just be there for support, love and guidance and nothing else needs to be said as knowing you are there will be better than anything you can say

I just learned that my egg did not make the Guinnes World Record book. FML. I have the letter in it's entirety below, copied and pasted from my gmail account:

Dear Ms CXXXXXXX TXXXXX,

Thank you for sending us the details of your recent record attempt for 'World's Largest Chicken Egg'. We are afraid to say that we are unable to accept this as a Guinness World Record.

This record is currently rested, which means that no one can attempt this record and become a new record holder and therefore is not a category that we wish to pursue.
However, the record for the heaviest chicken egg is a category we still monitor. The heaviest egg reported to have been laid by a hen is one of 454 g (16 oz), with a double yolk and double shell, laid by a White Leghorn at Vineland, New Jersey, USA, on 25 February 1956.

Guinness World Records has absolute discretion as to which record applications are accepted and our decision is final. Guinness World Records may at its discretion and for whatever reason identify some records as either no longer monitored by Guinness World Records or no longer viable.

As your record application has not been accepted, Guinness World Records is in no way associated with the activity relating to your record proposal and we in no way endorse this activity. If you choose to proceed with this activity then this is will be of your own volition and at your own risk.

Once again thank you for your interest in Guinness World Records.

Yours sincerely,

Anna Orford
Records Management Team

I didn't even come close, nor did Nathan Batten of Iowa. I am sure he received a similar letter as well.

Poor Eggzilla. Maybe burial with honors?
Maybe, but perhaps a cremation by way of frying pan? You know honor him the way an egg should be honored. Whats your suggestion?

 I don't think you should eat someone who has a fan following!

But its not even a record egg, I doubt anyone would be interested in my egg now.

Botts you have a point. Eggzilla has been good to me these last couple of weeks, so has Shelldon. I shouldn't eat them. I doubt I would even get $5 for them.

Oh..you'll never now what's going on in e-bay... some people want to feel the Eggzilla, to see the real size of it... seriously... there are crazy people who want to buy for $500 bucks...LOL
