Botts, I checked the membership numbers and I think we're holding at 275 right now. :shock: I've also finished writing my submission to Ellen DeGeneres and I'm having a friend proof-read it tonight. Tomorrow I'll take it to another friend who's an English Teacher and have her go over it. I wish I could get in touch with Dr. Clair from ATU, she would love this. :cool2: Tomorrow I should be sending my submission off to Ellen with fingers and toes crossed her staff responds.
 
Just learned that one of my friend's twin son died tonight. I never know what to say when my friends lose their children.

Great! I hope Eggzilla sweeps the world! Are we going to do shirts? And I will pay extra if mine is really large.

The ASL shirt guy managed to get me 5x a couple of years ago. That's about as close to my skin as I can stand for long.

That's very sad. I don't think I really know anyone who lost a child. :(

She is the 3rd one of my friends in the past couple of years. All the children who have died where 5 and under. Terrible.

Then there was the 12 year old student that my school recently lost to cancer.

I have considered the t-shirts but still wondering if I should press them at home, send them to a t-shirt shop to have them screen pressed, or should I do it over CafePress with part of the proceeds going to CafePress.

Botts, don't worry about paying extra, those reason why you should have to pay extra!

Maybe we should print a list famous deaf and HOH people and show it to the next person and ask them if are you calling these people dumb!

Well, I love the story of Thomas Edison, who was probably an autistic deaf genius.

He couldn't stay in school in his era because they did not know how to teach him, and he probably was HOH from having his ears boxed by a train worker.

I was working on a project related to Lady Gaga and someone decided to be funny and call me Lady Caca. According to my Brazilian friend - Caca means poop in Spanish!
