What did you learn today? Part II

I learned never eat potatoes at deafbajagirl house.

I learned that my family (not MIL) has asked to go vegan. They want to keep seafood in the meal plan, but cut out all beef, poultry and pork. I will not allow my mother to participate until I get the clearance from her doctors and she sees them both on Monday next week. She tried before and it threw her blood numbers and levels off and we had problems. We will start on Thursday. Mainly since I have chicken and pork in the house and want to get them out.

crap on annoy on someone bother follow me crap I learn it I figure out implentation lol!

I learned that I need to be doing more than just being a passive onlooker...

I also learned that the architect measured the garage wrong. We will be losing some space in the garage. She took the outside measurements, not the inside measurements. Makes a difference when the garage is built with large concrete blocks. We lose about 100-150 square feet.

Boo! Have a different surveyor come measure it correctly.

She came back out today and we measured it all correctly. At least this time, everything is out of the garage. She will get it all updated in the computer and printout the new stuff and then get the engineer to sign off on it.

That I can't vacuum over laptop battery cords. I fried it !!! (At least I didn't fry the laptop. I shoulda known better!)

I'm afraid to vacuum over ANY cord. I also learned there was a very funny snake incident at the peewee football practice in town today.

I learned that my brother fell 10 feet from a cliff in Sedona when hiking with his girlfriend. Had to go to the ER and now he has a bruised knee. Here at my mom's house with ice on his knee. Oh boy...

I get a little annoying that my dog likes to attack my vacuum awhile vacuuming the rooms. She is crazily attacking it back and forth. What a weirdo. Gee, I didn't learn anything to stop her doing it every time I vacuum the house.

Hope he's okay!!!

Update on the mis-measurements. Turned out they were right. We don't have to change a thing. The house will be 1344 square feet. We found out today, MIL's house is only 98-1020 Square feet. The mobile home we had in Missouri was 1100 square feet, so we will be in a bigger space like I thought. Bedrooms will be roomy (13X11, 13X11, 14X10, 10X11), Living/great room is decent (18.4X12.10), then the kitchen with laundry room is okay (10.4X12.10). I think I got those right.
