What did you learn today? Part II

I am learning that I really dislike living with other people. The guy I am renting a room from accused me of going into his room and breaking something. I told him I didn't go in his room and got no reason to go into his room. He all but said I am lying. Today while we were talking, he asked me who else could have gone and I said either I or your daughter and I know I didn't go in the room. He then said his daughter couldn't have broken it. Ugh!!

When I move out of here, I am gonna live on my own from now on unless I reconcile with my wife.

People sure make life so difficult!!![/QUOTE]

I can relate in so mannny ways ranging from my ex hubby to some of my coworkers. Some people are just predeposited for drama.

I learned today (er actually yesterday) that our chickens are 55 weeks old and they have been taking them up at 60 weeks so I'm thinking - 5 more weeks then no more chickens for a month or so.... I *might* get a couple of free Saturdays in there, I hope.

why not just say 1 year old?

why not just say 1 year old?

Because in the poultry industry you never say the product is a 'year old' - sounds like it's gone bad.

BTW - our chickens are gonna be in your chicken noodle soup soon. That's where they're going. Seriously. :giggle:

I misunderstood. Last night, watching national news, I meant 65,000 thousand diagnosed skin cancer. Around 8,000 a yr die in US from skin cancer due to sun and tanning beds. A woman has skin cancer from tanning beds and still tanning b/c she said it is very addicting.

Ah. 8,000, definitely I could believe.

Both my sisters go to tanning salons in early spring "to get a head start" on their summer tans. Idiots.

We all tan easily in our family, but still, I think they're nuts.

I hate the look of people who tan religiously - their skin looks like leather and not human. It looks disgusting to me.

To me, I like to see just a hint of a sun kissed face with a nice medium complexion on the body. I don't like the dark or ultra-dark tans.

But then again I am a very pasty red head! I burn really badly the first time I'm out in the sun then it peels (ugly), then after that I gradually get a little bit of color. By late fall I usually look normal instead of pale. In the winter I get very pale to the point that I am constantly asked if I'm sick.

My sisters don't go for the real dark look, and they don't keep up with their visits once summer starts (I don't think). We are all blessed with young-looking skin in our family, and they keep themselves well-moisturized and all that.

We are all brunettes, so a tan does look natural, and we don't tend to burn much.

Still - I think they're nuts.

Seems "googling" some psychological problems can be the solution- no more problems courtesy -Dr Google.
Will that be the end of psychologists?

I learned that MIL will possibly be chipping in more money for the house. We are now going to put a solid roof, like a carport, over the back patio. We will get great East/West breezes. There will also be outdoor ceiling fans and lights installed. Screen patios do not survive around here. Lady next door has to replace hers every 3 years at $4000 a pop due to wind and storm damage. Family behind us, in the 2 years we've been here, have had to replace their twice.

I learn it adjust to permission because reason facebook mutal :P protect to my friend prevent to think!
