Hope it's not major damage to the roof and only needs caulking then cleanup inside.

Hope son starts to feeling better soon. I feel sure he really doesn't want to miss his first day of school.

I do understand about wishing the power to be out tomorrow. You all need time to somewhat recuperate over all of this. Hope your school and son's school did not suffer any damage.

Actually, the family is fine and we are ready to proceed with our normal routines. It is soooo beautiful and sunny out with a nice breeze. I wish I can take a walk but gotta take care of my little one. Maybe when my hubby gets home from his weekend job tonight.

No, I hope our schools didnt suffer damage. My hubby said if he is sick tmw, he will stay home with him tmw so I wont miss my first day with my students. If Nathan has to miss his first day, then so be it. Cant risk of him getting others sick..that would NOT be a great start to the school year. eeek!

So far I went to McDonald's for lunch and ate a salad. My fall fitness plan is underway.

A lot of our school districts here in DE moved the 1st day of school to Tuesday on Friday. I think they were concerned about communicating school closings since some people would be w/o electric & phone service.
 
I took two of the boys to the Lake to fish today. We did not catch a dern thing! :(
 
I have now (an hour ago) made a quick run to Walmart. Now, waiting for MIL to get her dinner out of the way so I can cook. My stomach is rumbling!!

I went to Walmart today and got allergy pills. Pollens are high in Ohio right now. They very expensive. Grrrrr.
 
I started mowing the back yard for the first time in months but saw quail roosting in a few clumps of tall grass and bramble, so I will leave it alone.
That's my excuse, anyway, hah.

If you eat one spoon of honey every morning for a month or two, your allergy will be almost gone or completely gone for many months. It depends on the honey. You should eat raw honey from purchasing at a local shop. A local bee is where it pollutes on the flowers, and that meets your medicine (I don't remember the description). If you buy a regular honey (not raw) plus the label says out of state, it won't help you at all.

stayed home due to school closings. Just did stuff around the house and went for an hour walk.
 
I went to work, finished up my laundry, texted my pastor's wife, texted another friend, picked my DD up from school today since she wanted to work with me on the farm after school. Talked with my aunt about purchasing a new computer for her. Helped my DD with her homework, gave her a bath and now she's asleep and I'm up on AD.com.

I went to Walmart tonight, little did I know a deaf couple was right behind me. It was awesome! We can chat all night if we could lol
