I think so might probably anxiety something my headache I wil tell my doctor will adjust!

What did *I* do today? I had a day full of Hearies!!! I was getting *SO* pissed off, because my colleagues seemed to forget my communication needs, that I almost walked out of a meeting and just left the office for the day. I'm *SICK* and tired of having to keep moving my chair around so that I can see, during a meeting, especially when people *KNOW* not to block my view which I *HATE* having to explain in the first place. Then my boss covered his mouth with his fingers, something he rarely does anymore, so I put my fingers to my mouth and mumbled, "I can't understand what you're saying (interupting him)." He stopped.

Whew, I feel better. :giggle:

:iough:

Oh you SHOULD walk out. I did that before when there are times that terp did not show up at all for the meeting. I just simply walk out of the meeting. You know...what's the point of me staying in the meeting?? Let my eyeballs stare at the ceiling.. fiddling around my fingers, play solitair on my iPhone.. pphpfffttt.. I don't need to constantly reminded every person not to cover their mouth or please look at me when talking, you know? Because they will always forget. Everytime I walked out, one of my secretary will get mad at the interpeter agency and sometime meeting do cancelled. It's fair because it frustrated for me not having terp and it frustrated for them for last minute meeting cancellation. Fair is Fair.

I know how you feel about it Rebeccalj, I been there and done that.

Math=no fun. I now remember why it was my least favorite subject.

I totally understand. When I was at my dad's cabin for the weekend, there were lots of hearing people there. Only two knew sign (my hubby and my brother's girlfriend) but they didnt understand the implications of people blocking my deaf brother's and my view so I had to keep telling people to please sit or pls move. I am sure they got sick of it but who cares...I had to work in making communication accessible for my brother and I so I expected them to do some work as well. Eventually, they started internalizing it and worked at making sure that my brother and I was able to see everyone. My family was so out of practice because my brother and I dont live in AZ anymore.

Going to take my daughter to her orientation for High School tonight.. She is excited!!

So far today - ha!! I have laid in bed all day reading a book. After fixing lunch, had to take MIL to the doctor. Have no plans for the rest of the day except to work on my video, finish my book and lie around.

anticipating to read another death book, gee ---"A brief history of Death" by Douglas Davies
should be good, so far essay is Harrrrd to get started...questions questions keep popping, had to ignore and just Write...death and dying subjects are difficult to write about!, got more ink for printer so , hope that's gonna help

I figure out think so consider might to probably, I think so doing figure out plan soon!

Talked to the airline I had booked my Nov flight on. They stopped their Sat flights from DEN to PHL, and their alternatives were not acceptable to me. They'll give me a full refund...now I need to find another flight. Found two that go to BWI. Even with the increase in shuttle cost from BWI to home, they're still less than flights (with the cheaper shuttle cost) to PHL. Will sleep on it and maybe book tomorrow. Will also decide if I want to take the train from BWI or the shuttle (which will travel on I95 :Ohno:) The cost of train/shuttle (from train station) vs the cost of shuttle from BWI is about equal.
Decisions, decisions.

Went to work, worked on some online stuff for the church, did some research on grants and scholarships for Uni. Texted my pastor about a twin size bed that he was wanting to give to me. I tried to give him money for it but he wouldn't take it. I'm soo grateful for this. That knocks out a major expense for me. This means Maddie now has a new(er) bed and I'll be on the lookout for a full-size bed for myself later on. That pretty much leaves me just needing an apartment sized dinning set. If I can get that, I am pretty much all set as far as furniture goes as I have everything else we will be using already on hand.

I feeling bad mood change again seems not work ruin my friends blocked me! :(

Reading- Life after Deafness- Bena Schuster, Cdn Hard Hearing Association.1995.

Today I make and print 4,000 colour shopping sale booklets. 9 hours of photocopy machines breaking. No fun.

Well, today I actually walked out of a meeting and slammed the door good and hard behind me. :giggle:

Not because of communication issue but because we meet with asshole (business owner in community) who completely ignored me and treat me like the 'little woman'. Trying to tell *me* about taxation then try to tell *me* what he will pay for and what he won't. Then he say to me, "It's just an accounting term, a write off and you'd *know* that if you're a professional accountant." I look at my colleague and say, "I'm done. *YOU* deal with him," then got up, walked out and left the office for the day.

Really, is it only Tuesday?

Very frustrating and get sick and tired of having to remind people. I don't like putting myself on display as a Deaf person but their forgetfullness of my needs makes it necessary sometimes and I *HATE* that.

I will address it on Thursday in my manager's meeting.
