long day at work cuz of deadline and at same time - dealing with a very difficult client cuz she was always asking me questions and asking for status updates. um...... if you want me to finish it on time, then stop bothering me so I can focus.
Of course..... I can't say that to her so instead - I didn't bother replying back till much later and it worked
on the way to my parents' home for dinner... I saw 2 guys with 2 motorcycles nearby and they were fixing something on one of the bikes. As I was waiting for garage to open, they were still working on it. I was thinking of turning around to ask if they needed any help but didn't because maybe they were just fixing something quick. I parked... looked out and watched them for a few minutes. I figured something was wrong so I got back to my truck and turned around. As the garage was opening, they pushed the bike in.
I asked if they needed any help and told them that I'm a biker too. It was 2 Korean people - father and son living at same condo as my parents. I was surprised to see father riding same model (BMW F650GS) as mine but newer because he's much older than my dad... and shorter than me. The image totally doesn't match
The son rides 2011 Triumph T100 Bonneville and it was damaged. What happened was that father and son took a ride at this mountain road popular for cyclists, runners, and bikers because father just got the bike today. They swapped the bikes. Later on, father dropped the bike at stop sign and then clutch handle snapped off.
They were wondering how can they take it to dealership for repair. I told the son - just buy the part tomorrow and call me - I'll fix it for ya. Don't do it at dealership cuz it's $$$$$$$$. I pointed at my truck - I bought it just to tow my bike in case I crashed somewhere
and I have all the tools in the back to fix the bike so I can fix it for you.
love it when my shitty day ended with an interesting moment
