3-6 months from now according to the waiting list I am on. I hope it goes by fast or I get notice of a vacancy sooner.

Hang in there. It'll be here soon enough. In a way, we are in the same boat. I can't wait to leave my present job and start my new job but it'll be a little wait also.

Just take it one day at a time is all I can say.

At $126/mo before utilities for rent - based on income - I won't find anything like that anywhere else in the city. I just have to be patient. I am hoping I will be moved in before Christmas if possible.

I bought an old desk at a garage sale. It's very antique, very sturdy. It needs work, big time. But I'm good at this. The sanding, refinishing, staining, etc. This will be cool.

YAY Friday! Horrible week at work but BF drive from Squamish, from work out of town, to see me and just leave hour ago.

Have to take son for yet another x-ray this morning for two fractures on thumb that are not healing right. One fracture from hockey two months ago and one from AD dog from hell trying to get out of the house and he tried to hold him back. :roll:

Then to office for probably a short day.

Oh, asshole hearie from the other day came in to apologize to me yesterday. I was epitomy of elegant forgiver.

I read a few pages from Heath about students who are deaf or hoh in postsecondary education.... why does even the thought of sending kids to AGBell for rescources rile me up?? sigh....
It's just me right? I guess its cause I am a grouch at times. Oh yeah... and they used the term Hearing Impaired... Sending kids who want an interpretor to the AG Bell oral Interpreting Committee.... dang... or even a communication disorder specialist. No one here sees anything amiss. Do you? Warning - 16 pages!

Brought the desk home! Can't wait to start working on it. Trying to think of ways I could be creative with it. It's a very straightforward desk, very linear. (Which is how I like my furniture anyway.) It just doesn't have any pizzazz to it, so if I'm going to refinish it I might as well do something cool to it.

Planted 4 more Rose bushes in the flower garden by the river....sweating buckets of water....one of our neighbors is moving and gave me a lot of plants. Too many, so I'm giving some away to friends. She also gave me a marble coffee table which will be perfect for the patio...Gonna put down 2 more Palm plants by our kitchen window tomorrow.

I saw my granddog for the last time today. Ally will be seeing her cousin Finlay very soon. I am going to miss my sweet little Ally! She loved to have me pat her rear end for her and just before she when home she had me pat her rear end! I am going to miss that sweet little rear end! Marty is the only dog in our family now. It so hard saying goodby to a best friend!! Finlay will be so happy to see Ally again! I am feeling sooo sad right now. I wish this day never had to come!!

she was shelter dog and it is not going to be the same going to my daughter's house anymore! Ally would wait at the door for me!

I took the kids to GameStop, WalMart and to the storage place, then had to go back to GameStop as I left my cane there. Got home and the A/C repair guy was here so had to wait until he left so I could fix lunch. Had lunch at 2 (finally!!), then had to take MIL to 2 banks. Got home and swept and mopped the kitchen. Waiting for it to dry so I can fix dinner. Oh, I also made a car payment online.
