Took daughter to the doctor's again (3 Monday's in a row). This time she has strep throat. It was so obvious he didn't need to swab/culture it. I asked if they had a frequent visitor discount. Alas, no. Thank goodness I have insurance. Never did find out what caused the fever other than that she did have some type of infection (based on blood count).
She goes to the ENT later this week for a follow-up to her ruptured ear drum and to get a hearing test.
Hopefully she'll be done with ailments by the time school starts in a couple of weeks.

Good luck to your daughter! Seems like a terrible way for a kid to spend the summer.

Especially one with a boyfriend. You should have heard them when she had a fever blister ... mom, is it gone, do I still have one, etc. Heck, how should I know (with these old eyes), you can see/feel better than I can. :lol: Tell him either be patient or risk getting the virus which will be with him for the rest of his life (luckily she hadn't had a break out in a long time).
 
I sprayed weeds on sidewalk in front of house with round-up. First time all summer. :lol: I usually knock them down with the trimmer.
 
I cannot STAND unproductive, pointless, and stupid meeting. Today we had a two-hour meeting on what future meetings are going to be about. Fu.......k!
 
They only gave us 6 hours to work in our rooms and do planning...the rest of the week is booked with meetings, inservices, etc. So fu*king stupid.

same here. I'm notorious for that. most of my meetings are quick and go. my boss knows I hate going to senior staff meeting or vendor meetings which usually takes hours so I'm not included anymore :lol: unless it's serious.

I simply can't be f....ked with anything that doesn't directly involve me.

Many of us complained about the lack of set up and planning time during the first week back. For the last 2 years, our requests have been met. We get two full days now. Not bad.. maybe get everyone together and compose a request for less meetings and more planning time?

Yes...this week is just ridiculous. Plus we have to stay after school every Tuesday and most Fridays. Who's gonna pay my after school care fees? Wow, I'm in a grumpy bitchy mood.
