What did you do today? Part II

I've been cheaper because my meds make me pukey. lol But hubby says I've always been a cheap date.

:laugh2: :laugh2: ...me too, Sally...hence the weight loss, too nauseous to eat, even with the nausea meds...so it's been soup and more soup....I'm hungry but don't see anything I want to eat....the refrigerator door really got a workout today!

I spend around that amount for 4 of us a month....During the summer, it's a lot more with school being out....Found some good buys on T-Bones today and also Rump Roasts, (buy 1, get 1).

Always! Especially the fresh veggies.....I do look for the Buy 1, Get 1...and try to get out to the store before 11am to get some discounts. Will go to the Bread Store tomorrow for Bread, Chips, Pies and Snacks. A loave of Bread is gone in 1 day....2 of my boys have grown out of that eating spurge...but the 15 year old is always hungry.

The only thing fresh about the veggies in the winter are the prices!! The prices are really fresh! I am always cussing under my breath when I see oranges for
$1.00 each!! I loves oranges but there is no way I will pay a dollar for one! GRR!

I am very very addicted to water with freshly squeezed lemons at night before I go to bed. I cannot sleep without getting a glass or two of it. For that, i will pay $1 for one freaking lemon which sometimes is the price that my local store will have. It pisses me off. I could go to the International store but it means driving another 20 mins so aaahh.

Fresh fruits and veggies should be CHEAP so people can eat healthier!

One dollar for a single lemon? :eek: I pay 50 cent for mine and I must have lemons.

Not all the time but whenever there is a natural disaster in the places where the lemons get shipped from, they will go up to that high. On average, it is 3 lemons for a dollar. That's why I only squeeze a half a lemon in my cup of water instead of a whole lemon like before.

I used to drink cranbettry juice all the time at night until I realized how much sugar I was consuming so I quit that and switched over but it became a more expensive addiction. GRRR!

Cranberry is my favorite too. But it will blow my blood sugar out of control so i buy candy or juice i don't like. I'm not wild about Orange juice so I buy it for diabetic emergenices. I can't stand licorice at all so i buy it for diabetic emergenices as well.
 
very long day. went to funeral today for my friend's mom. first time I've been to Jewish funeral. and then met up with my ex to have a dinner and fun nite with her Korean friends. saw "In Time".
 
i was out with my good friend and had a crazy time with her and her friends...i thought i'd trust myself to not drink a drop of alcohol but i guess not! i have a horrible hangover right now...so i'm not sure if i want to do anything special today. maybe i'm just gonna do some x-mas shopping?
 
I am screw up on my sleep maybe I will referr on maybe guess I don`t know what is happened I pretty scared!
 
I found a Leatherman waves tools on the lawn tonight. I looked it up on line and they sell for $110 or more! I try to see who it belong to.
 
got a really nice experience with Craigslist. I need new furniture for the guest bedroom so I was looking through the ads and saw an adorable black TV stand with built in DVD storage for only $30. I called the lady and turned out she owned an cosignment store. After work, went there and it was deep in Hartford County..about 40 mins north of Baltimore. Beautiful drive on a winding road with the sun setting and shining on the brilliant colors of Fall. Arrived and saw it was a cute little store with lots of neat neat stuff for CHEAP so I went in and it turned out the lady knew some sign language because she has a deaf friend. She reduced the price and gave me a hug. Then, she gave me 6 business cards of different antique and vintage stores in that town so I am excited! Who wants to join me for an all day window shopping one weekend? I want to go to that place again..nice people there!!! Thank you Craigslist!
