What did you do today? Part II

Bunches of paperwork, and I'm still not done. I'm delaying it by being on AD.:giggle:

:giggle:

i'm supposed to keep studying- the exam is due tonight. but i'm taking a mental break by being on AD. procrastinating has been always something i'm good at.

There's no "unlike" button. I'm sorry to hear. :(

Man, I hope you get some relief soon!

Thanks ladies. I'm just doing my best do deal with it, ya know? It's too bad that I have all these allergies to medicines, or all my doctors would have something for me. MIL called my doctor because she really felt bad for me. He still can't do anything and feels totally helpless. HE has been asking all kinds of people for help and it seems I can't get anything due to these asinine allergies.

After a night of no sleep and getting up in a great deal of pain, I have now vacuumed as I cried in pain and deep cleaned the bathroom (think sloppy and messy male humans). I have taken some Tylenol 3 with codeine in the hopes it helps, but so far nothing. Want to lie down in bed, but MIL says not until after the guy is here to take these darn pictures. On a pain scale, 1 begin good and 10 being the worst, I am sitting at 11-12.

You need to tell your MIL she needs to help and your messy male household members need to clean up after themselves and help out where they can. I'm sorry your having to put up with this BS. I so can't wait for you to move into your own space.

Agreed - why are you forcing yourself to cope with even more pain for your MIL? I would have just laid in bed and locked the bedroom door. Like Dixie, can't wait till you move out.

Well - MIL is no longer permitted by her doctors to vacuum, sweep, mop or clean her bathroom. She's not even allowed to change her sheets. (balance issues and weak bone structure). My son cleaned her bathroom, my mother did the sweeping and mopping today and daughter took over the vacuuming from me after I fell. Now, daughter has said she will take over the sweeping, mopping and dusting, son will do both bathrooms and I only have to supervise. Kids felt totally bad for me today and vowed to not let it happen again.

I have something you can post to Good Things! You're kids are turning into terrific, empathetic human beings! I love hearing about kids who aren't so focused on themselves. I'm so glad you're raising decent people!

She will be just next door. The new house is a garage conversion on her 2nd lot. Father-in-law had a huge 3 bay and lots of storage area garage. It is 1344 square feet. Got the final confirmation that the loan is approved and the County did separate the lots. We also have been approved for the permit we were waiting on and we should have it within 2 weeks. If all goes as planned and told to us, we can start construction in 3-4 weeks.

grumbled over my paycheck being spent pretty quick (had to pay some bills).

I worked but I have to go back tonight to dump chickens. I really didn't want to be on the farm for this. At least it's a job. I just wish I had a job that would allow me to go to school but I can't get away from this job long enough to do anything about getting another job. I have a feeling I'm going to end up so frustrated at the whole thing that I'll get mad and quit. (Not that I want to knowing that's generally not a wise decision)

I don't want to be stuck on the farm for the rest of my working years. This job goes no where.

i did sumthing tuhday. I know! I blew leaves with leaf-blower. the driveway is very long and looks bedder. :)

I'm a lot older than you Kristina, but don't have so many health problems as you do.....
But still, all 3 of my boys know how to make a bed, keep their rooms clean and clutter-free, clean and mop the bathrooms, wash clothes...even cook....
And if they have no plans for the weekend, then they are expected to help me around the house with outdoor chores, (pulling weeds from the flower garen, watering the flowers, using the weed-eater, etc., etc.)...

Perhaps making a "list" of chores and things that everybody in the house should do, to keep it running much better....(as I will do when I go in for surgery)....

I'm sure ur MIL can dust! Even wash dishes....light housework, and let ur Hubby & son do the a lot of the work also....Good luck to all of you! I'm sure if ur family pulls together, then it will all be so much easier on you.

So far I went to the store and bought Dingo bones, and some chicken to make chicken noodle soup. Also some marshmallows for hot chocolate. :)

So far, cleaning and laudry. Yuk!

Same here....got the Cocktiel bird cage clean (it's huge)...and they make such a mess! Sprayed them down with a mist of water (which they love)...and they begged for more!...It's like a bath to them....Laundry is going...some clothes in the dryer (as always)...my son vacuumed his room and the hallway...he's got his bathroom to do, wich is always "last" :giggle:...as he hates it and says his brothers "make such a mess"!....(all the boys are beginning to sound like me!)...Fla./Ga. football comes on today...so we're trying to hurry these chores along.....
