This is cool! Here is another one:

I love Mickey Mouse!

Thank you, and unfortunately, no. They really aren't tech-savvy. But this gives me and my sister an idea for an Xmas present about a laptop or something that they can back up their pictures on. My dad was diagnosed with mild Alzheimer's recently, and I suspect this played a role in them leaving the camera in plain sight for it to get stolen.
Oh, I'm sorry; that's rough.

for some reason I woke up with muscles hurting felt like I been doing weight lifting so tired and now the trots..i saw my mum and she got c-dif I hope not got I from her
I hope you get better soon.

:aw: that is a sad situation and your dad's health too, so sorry.

Thank you. Mom did send a few photos off her camera phone so that can be salvaged, but that's like 3 out of some 200 dad took photos of. My sister and I are starting to look into some Alzheimer's support groups and activities for dad; his older brother died of the same just a couple years ago. Dad will be 80 next month.

I hope this nasty looking bug does not come around here !
It's an Asian Longhorned beetle . GROSS !

What is c-dif ? Do you have a fever too ? It sound like some kind of nasty bug, I hope you'll feel better soon.

c-dif is bacterial infection mostly in hospital because bad hygine staff don't wash hands properly dangrous to babies and frail people,my mother got it.She sat in her own poo for 24hours before they changed her.It a wonder the patients still alive

The birthday dinner turned out great. Had a blast with my goddaughter. There were ten of us celebrating my mom's and son's birthdays. I told everyone my mom turned 84 but was wrong...she turned 83. Ooooppppssss.

A few of you wanted to know how my CI was during the dinner. I posted it under my CI thread....but for some reason the mini mic was not activated. I spent the whole day trying to hear my daughter and the mini mic wasn't even working. Works great now. HAHA

Excited for the trip but so sad that I have to leave Marley. Hate it!!!

If some is diagnosed with mild Alzheimer's they should watched better that was not very bright letting him be responsible for the camera !

Wow could you be any meaner?

first of all you don't know that he was in charge of the camera. Both he and his wife were at lunch, the wife could have had it sitting at her spot. It could have been any number of reasons why it was stolen. Chaos in getting ready to leave (which can certainly happen with an individual with Alzheimer's), forgetting to put the camera away. Healthy YOUNG people lose their stinking camera, phone, iPad (or get them stolen) all the time, was it bright to allow them to be responsible for their technical equipment?

Yes the Alzheimer's may have played a role in it. Unless you were actually there sitting at the table or nearby, I suggest not making a comment on if it was 'not very bright letting him be responsible for the camera'.

Yes, I wasn't there either so I can't comment on how exactly it happened. My dad is an extremely smart man, it saddens me that he's starting to have memory loss now. Thanks, DD, for your post.

This is totally uncalled for... how would you feel if you were in their shoes? There is no excuse for insulting other members.

OUCH!!!!! My back hurts so bad. We made it to Chicago.....long day. Flight was completely full so no room for stretching out. The flight was very smooth though. Got in line for a taxi, about 200 people in front of us. Thankfully, the line moved pretty fast. Our room is on the 17th floor, top floor with beautiful views. Hubby and daughter went out for a drink while I lay in bed with a nice cold ice pack. Keeping my fingers crossed that I will feel better so we can have a good time.

Wish you in a speedy recovery. If there is a hot tub somewhere in hotel, go for it!
