What are you thinking about Part VII

Thinking about how to get all the clothes I need into one suitcase and stay under the 50 pound limit. I would be fine if I didn't have to bring formal dresses and heels.

Longer trip this time with a lot more events to attend.

Busy next few days, lot's of birthdays this time of year.

I have seen the suggestion to send things via Fed Ex or UPS rather that pay airline overages or sometimes it works better than even regular airline baggage charges. I have not done it myself.

Yeah, I had customers send luggages internationally in my UPS.

Some people ship their "luggage" ahead so that they don't have to take it on the plane.

Well it seems LoveBlue and I were thinking alike with her writing a bit faster than I did (I found hers after I posted). I hope that means we are great minds!

I dated a guy that was in the army and he showed me how to pack clothes so they take up less space and don't get so wrinkled. The utube
has CC .

Roll up the clothes lol A friend taught me that trick

Roll up, put into ziplock bag (they come in large sizes now), sit on the bag to squeeze out the air as you zip it closed. This is how I pack anymore.

For most of her clothes that would work. I would hate to roll up a formal dress or gown (actually easier to pack a suit apparently).

I've been fiddling with folding (for both packing and home) to maximize space- seems to work but still haven't figured out a good way to fold the polo shirts...

We don't travel very often but these out of state "formal" weddings are a pain. I have three cocktail dresses for this trip. Everything else will be easy to pack since it is hot in Chicago. Shorts etc.....

A lot of electronic gear to pack especially having two CI's now with all the new accessories. All that stuff goes into my carry on bag. I've never been stopped by security with my CI's hope that is the case this time.

Ouch I bet!

Last wedding I went to was in 2012 (well two). One was semi formal so I got away with khakis and an oxford shirt. The other I was in the wedding party and the tux was already there.

LOL totally understand about the electronics. They get their own bag lately. I don't have CIs, but carry around my phone, iPad, chargers for those, adding the boogie boards (accidentally left one at my friend's- she better mail it back or I'll have to go back there...). Sometimes I take my laptop (getting to be slow and ancient but easier to see).

Used to be I was always asked..."got your meds, clothes etc?" Now it's "got your meds, all your chargers, phone, batteries....?" lol.

Oh my, that is giving me a funny visual, Caz and her layers of retro clothes. It's a wonder they didn't say, "now you are 10 pounds overweight, sorry, you can't get on the flight"!

I'm thinking about how much I love the singer, Ed Sheeran. I just finished watching his concert Live at Wembly Stadium. I'm sure I'll watch it a few more times. What a cutie he is, and he seems so humble. Love that red hair!

Ed Sheeran????I like read words of songs..
I thinking going for walk and should I get a baby gold fish...Very random thoughts

Wondering why people tug my hair and play in it... after I tell them not to touch they think I am playing and do it more....yet smack their hands and they feel like you did something wrong 0.o
